Our wedding at The Bethnal was everything we had envisioned—laid-back, beautiful, and truly unforgettable. From start to finish, the entire process was seamless, and we couldn’t have asked for better support from Lauren and her team.

Lauren was an absolute gem, guiding us through every step with professionalism and warmth. She was always contactable, quick to respond, and completely transparent, making what could have been a stressful process feel effortless.

The vendors included in the wedding packages were outstanding. Our celebrant, Venita, was incredible—her passion for love and weddings shone through in every interaction. Red Seven Group Entertainment provided an amazing DJ, Helen, who curated the perfect playlist based on our taste while keeping the dance floor alive by taking guest requests.

The food was another highlight—every single guest raved about how delicious it was! And not to mention the beer, which is absolutely always top-notch at Range (the adjoined brewery that my husband and I now frequent).

If you're looking for a venue that is gorgeous, stress-free, and backed by an incredible team, we highly recommend The Bethnal. Our day was truly perfect, and we’re so grateful to everyone who made it happen.

I highly recommend The Bethnal for anyone considering a product launch or education style event. Our business held one at The Bethnal recently and it was absolutely perfect for our needs - access, power requirements, air-con, seating, AV and catering were all perfect.

Lauren also went above and beyond to accommodate our additional requirements and having a dedicated person on the ground of the day of the event meant that small tweaks to AV requirements could be made on the fly.

Overall a great venue that we will use again when we have the need in Brisbane.

Lauren was great to work with. Her communication was punctual and helpful and she was able to assist in bringing our event vision to life.

The staff on the day were professional and friendly.

The food by Cuisine on Cue was not only delicious but presented beautifully and generous portions for our guest numbers.

I highly recommend the Bethnal to anyone looking at having their wedding there or even an event. Unfortunately our chosen wedding venue went into liquidation 2 weeks before our “engagement party” which was a surprise wedding. It was a mad dash to find a venue that we loved and fit our aesthetic. When one of our vendors sent the Bethnal through to us, we knew it was the one. Lauren and her team were so helpful in helping us change and adapt our original plan in such a short space of time and they were so easy to work with if we needed to make last minute arrangements. Overall the venue itself was beautiful, it was everything we could have asked for and more. We ended up loving the Bethnal more than our original venue. Thanks again to the Bethnal team for helping us create our dream night!

Booked the Bethnal for a party to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had a cocktail style do for about 70 people. It was a fabulous spot! Felt about right in terms of space for that size. Lauren and the staff are very easy to deal with, the catering was fantastic (& catered to lots of dietary requirements), we could design the space and decorate, bring in our own DJ, pick a load of wines and beers for the tab. They truly are very flexible and want to help you make your celebration fit what you want to do. We had so many compliments about the space and the food and the vibe. Highly recommend for your next party (& make sure you book the disco ball - the sparkles against the black backdrop are fab!)

We recently had our wedding at the Bethnal and cannot recommend them highly enough. Lauren and Matt were great to deal with from the get go, nothing was an issue. We loved the venue (had 60 guests canapé style) and we had a fantastic night. A lot of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed themselves there as well.
