Overall enjoyed our time at Beachcomber. This was a gift for my 30th.
I did travel with my husband and 1 year old son.

The only down fall is that this isn’t close to anything exciting especially a family with a 1 year old.
I did wish that on weekends they would have fun activities for children.

But other than that the place was clean and staff were polite.
Would recommend to friends and family who are travel in the around.

What a great experience it was staying at The Beachcomber. Booked as a gift for our birthdays for our first weekend away without our kids.
From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and accommodating. We had an incident on our balcony and Casey quickly moved us to another room and ensured that we were looked after. Casey continued to check on us throughout our stay and when checking out, Casey continued to go above and beyond by helping us search for availability to rebook.
Not only was Casey a standout, but every staff member from the hotel, bistro and bar was friendly and accommodating.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It’s a clean and peaceful place, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The customer service was excellent—everyone was friendly and accommodating. The food was amazing, with delicious options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A special shout-out to a very nice red-haired girl at the front desk (unfortunately, I didn’t catch her name) who went above and beyond. When we mentioned our Netflix wasn’t working, she promptly changed our room and even gave us a credit for the inconvenience. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for great service, excellent food, and a comfortable stay!

What a place, I am so pleased I booked it. Called in for one night while working in the area but I will be back.
The location is fabulous and sitting in the restaurant, pub, bistro, club area overlooking the lake is the best.
Staff so nice and good service. The room was fabulous, and that bed is amazing not to mention a shower that actually works with hot water under pressure.
Really good pub/restaurant food, actually I would say more restaurant as it was just so good. But we all know when you order at the counter and get given the buzzer, we are not in a restaurant. Such a shame as this place could be.

I cannot for the life of me understand why pub chefs think it is a good idea to stack food. I mean really have you as a chef cut your steak while it is on a pile of chip?
Why would you as a chef want your chips all soggy from the protein that should never have been up there. Just walk out there and ask your customers as they know stacking is for the chef only.
That rant aside and not on this chef as they all do it for some reason.
Go there it's really good and a very nice place to be. I am definitely coming back

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic! The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The service throughout my stay was exceptional, but I must give a special mention to Monica at reception. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, greeting us with warmth and efficiency. Providing helpful local recommendations. I can’t wait to return—thanks to the wonderful staff like Monica

At the weekend we found this is a massive party venue; weddings, parties, groups, non-stop pumping music in every area all catered to the young. No area set aside for any quiet or ability to hear each other speak. By nighttime the noise was fever pitch & only option was not to leave the room. The balcony was full of leaves and dirt. No plug in the bathroom sink & phone in room not operating, which they knew about but did not rectify. Couldn't therefore order room service & by the time we showered & dressed breakfast was off. The kitchen were unwilling to alter their regime and cook a slice of toast. I explained we were feeling unwell and wanted some assistance which was not forthcoming. Clearly they do not have a customer care process for those unwell or with special needs. The menu is exactly the same up and down the coast. Issues were reported to the reception and the manager. Customer Service is responding to a customer's needs but this business has a set regime & do not take the extra step outside of their own rules/requirements.

Nice hotel rooms and beds comfy. Was a tad dissapoiinted with parking had my mother with me who is disabled and all the spots were taken with 3 out of 4 no stickers. When I spoke to reception they said there was nothing they could do. Made it very difficult to look after my mum, her walker a all the luggage. Other than that I would go back just not with my mum not great place for those disabled, rooms and hallways also difficult for her to navigate

We loved staying at the Beachcomber, what a gem in the middle of the Central Coast. The first impression was how welcoming the staff were in every part of the hotel experience. We felt like we had arrived at an old friend's home. The ambience of the hotel with the 70's/80's music and vibe to the elegant renovations made us very relaxed. The lake view and sunset from the outdoor deck was so relaxing, we could have been anywhere in the world. Dinner of fish and chips and chilli prawn linguini was tasty. As we were arriving late and only staying 1 night we didn't pay the extra for a lake view, but our room was comfortable and roomy. We will certainly make the most of lake view option next visit. Breakfast was a treat with many options including eggs cooked to order. Again, the breakfast team were so kind and chatty which made us feel we were actually welcomed and part of a family. I mentioned to the waiter clearing our plates that whatever was happening at the beachcomber keep it going. That waiter turned out to be a senior manager, imagine that! Although Toukley is a little village, it is a great staging point for visiting the area. Thankyou again to all the wonderful staff making a difference for a travellers experience at the Beachcomber. You are all GOLD.
