On our way back from Sydney to Brisbane we thought we would explore Nambucca Heads and stay at the Beach Rooms.
We can't praise this hotel enough as it's well above the 3 stars it's rated at with great facilities including a full kitchen area with a fridge cold water dispenser, clean and well maintained rooms.
A pool that again is well maintained and stunning views over the Nambucca River, plus it's only 5 minutes walk to the main town.
Highly recommend staying here as we found it a lot better option than most of the hotels at Coffs Harbour were we normally stay on a road trip.

This hotel is simply the best value for money. So reasonable and so clean and nice! David was so friendly and helpful. The communal area is the best and it was so nice to see people enjoying themselves there. Walk to Matildas for dinner in 2 minutes. Walk to Woollies in 1 minute. We will definitely be back but for longer to enjoy all the beautiful beaches and another one of those prawn rolls that came highly recommended, thank you!

A fantastic motel with some of the nicest and most well equipped rooms I've ever seen. Conveniently located just up from the seafront and near the shops.
Friendly and helpful staff, a lovely view out over the river's mouth and a good range of communal facilities.
Thoroughly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Nambucca.

Says it’s a 3 star (likely based on no restaurant or similar) but it appears much nicer than that. Recently refurbished and very cute. Family room had a great view, super comfy beds and very neat and clean. Is on a main road but surprisingly quiet inside. Can’t fault it.

The Beach Room was a highlight of our drive down the coast. After spending the night at a less than acceptable place the night before, we were so happy to find the Beach Room welcoming, clean, private, quiet, comfortable and classy. The views were spectacular, the staff friendly and helpful and the room perfect for our stopover. The room had all we needed, it was well setup with lovely decor and a comfortable bed. It was such a great find and I hope we can return. Highly recommended in a great location!

Appears to be a historic motel that has been renovated beautifully and perched overlooking the beach. Patios share a walkway down to the pool, however have privacy screening between them and gorgeous views of the ocean. Would be a great place in the warmer months with a clean looking pool with seating around it, and a short walk from the foreshore. Clean, stylish, and with all the necessities despite not having a full kitchen. Small fridge with freezer, sink, toaster, kettle, plenty of glassware and plates. Smart TV. The host offered a fresh bottle of milk when we arrived which was a nice touch.|It’s a fairly small space, not much space to store bags, which didn’t bother us but may be a consideration for longer stays.|Across the road from Woolworths which was helpful.|Only negative is that the door does not key-lock internally, only finger locks, which is a bit of a concern for younger families like ours with curious children, considering the property is directly on the road on that side.

Having stayed at another location 18 months ago we decided to book a room at The Beach Rooms, so glad we did because this place is well priced, newly renovated and in a great location. The view from the room was to the east, overlooking the river and ocean, was fabulous. The staff were very welcoming and we had no issues during our stay, in fact we booked again for our return journey back to the Sunshine Coast.
The Beach Rooms is close to shops and a stroll to the river mouth are a must. Highly recommend.

Great motel. Welcoming reception, fresh milk. Rooms are accessible by walking from the roof top carpark. Exceptional "camp kitchen" if you wish to cook meals. Easy access to the river and a 15 minute walk to the v-wall. 2 minutes to RSL. Rooms are well appointed. Strong WiFi, and Netflix supplied on large TV. We had Room 18 which stands alone, very quiet.
