Lovely budget motel, way better than some of the overpriced places I've stayed! Lovely reception staff, easy to book, rooms clean, beds comfy and it's right across the road from the beach!
The only negative was no numbered parking to match your room, so first in, best dressed in the parking lot. Sometimes we had to park where I couldn't see my car from the room and we had to carry our belongings a fair way. I would definitely stay there again.

We've stayed here a couple of times now. It is simplicity at its best. Is just a nice place to stop. Located pretty much in the middle of everything you need. Rooms are clean, staff are friendly. Directly across from the beach and a nice pool area. We'll be back.

The ladies in reception were very friendly and accommodating, always greeting you with a smile 😁 The rooms were clean and stocked with appliances for our stay. The grounds were very clean and organised. The pool was lovely! Highly recommend.

I visit Hervey Bay often and this is always my favorite place to stay. Reception Service is wonderful every time. Rooms are always cleaned to a high standard. We needed a small maintenance issue fixed, maintenance man was prompt and friendly. The cleaner that came to refresh our room was very polite and friendly also. Nothing is ever too hard if I need additional assistance. The beach is directly across the road which makes for a lovely walk each day also. Enjoy your stay!

We found this motel met all our requirements, we wanted somewhere fairly cheap and easy to access for one night on our way up the Bruce Highway. It was clean and quiet. Didn't use the pool as the beach is just across the road and easy to access. Not alot of restaurant places to eat directly by Motel but lots within a short walk. Kitchenette was good to have.

It was our first time to Australia, and deciding to visit Hervey Bay. |We researched the hotels / motels, and found this place at a quite reasonable price.||A few take aways;||- Great location close to the beach, with beautiful waters |- Clean rooms with works well, and towels are changed without adding a sign out |- Next door we enjoyed the restaurant (not a part of the motel) Barrel N wine, great food and kind service ||When we at the hotel, it was very nice to receive the kind service, and further was got help to book a day trip by the kind lady at the motel. ||It’s always nice, when you meet people who are kind and helpful. And this we want to express our appreciation for.

Great location, lovely staff. The bathroom was freshly renovated, but the rest of the apartment sorely needed it - it was peeling and run down feeling. The master bedroom had a loud rumble from what I assume was the downstairs fan, that was loud enough that getting to sleep was hard. It's right on the esplanade and not well insulated for sound, so the traffic noise from mummy-didn't-love-me-enough-mobiles woke me repeatedly through the night.

The staff were rude, unfriendly and confrontational. We were attacked in our room by a man with a knife and had to get a police escort to our vehicle so we could leave safely. So we left by 10 pm on our 2nd night and because we left in a hurry the room was in disarray because we had pushed the beds together to form a barrier between us and our attacker. We put most of our rubbish in bags and had swept the floor but our $100 retainer was kept. No consideration for the trauma my daughter suffered on her 18th birthday. Never stayed anywhere worse. Wouldn't stay again if they paid me.
