Even though it was a really rainy cold day, my stay at the Baxley was really pleasant. Really friendly receptionist. Neat and clean room which was so lovely. The bathrooms although shared were kept really clean and tidy. Really recommend this stay if you’re looking for something a little better than your average hostel. It was worth the extra cost.

100% worth every penny. A welcoming scent of cedarwood and cinnamon in the lobby is an indication of the comfort to follow in this accommodation. We stayed for 2 nights but wished we could have stayed for longer! We had a double room which had a kettle and fridge included (snacks and drinks available in room for extra cost.) The bathroom was shared but didn’t feel like it at all, no multiple cubicles or showers in one room, just an individual bathroom which guests take turns to use. That being said, we never actually encountered any difficulty in accessing the bathroom and if we had, there was another just down the hall. The bathroom was consistently immaculate and of top quality. The kitchen was also incredible, consistently clean and even had a coffee machine available free of charge. The location is very convenient (25 minute walk to Bondi Beach) with shops nearby and easy bus routes to bondi junction or Sydney CBD. I would urge anyone considering booking this accommodation to go for it!

I recently just checked out of this hotel this morning. I really enjoyed my stay here. The bed was comfortable, the room was very clean and peaceful. The hotel has sleek design, aesthetic and minimalist. I slept without any interruptions every night. It’s very close to Bondi junction and main street to take the bus to the beach or to the train station.

My girlfriend and I had a great stay at the Baxley. Our room was the perfect size and the bed was super comfy. The bathrooms are very modern and always so clean, the staff are incredibly friendly as well. Would highly recommend!

A bit of a walk but there was a bus stop (I just couldn't be bothered waiting) Nice and quiet (aside from all the guest movement up and down the corridor outside my door) very clean and modern. room was close but perfectly sized for a single occupant, Kitchenette was lacking in microwave cookware which made it tricky to cook my dinner and breakfast.
Would love to see a sauna to help ease the tension as the water pressure is not super great for massage therapy despite the capability of the shower heads.
Staff were excellent and lovely to deal with, facilities in room were adequate (aircon did make some strange sounds though).
I found the small branches/leaves in water around the place interesting as they weren't going to grow into plants nor were they oxygenating the atmosphere at all.

Place was brilliant! Workers extremely polite and helpful when locked out of room.

Would recommend as a place to stay when you first move over as it’s close to Bondi Beach and Bondi Junction for running errands etc.,

One small thing is that although it says rooms are compact you probably should note that the single is very small and little to no floor space with luggage

Overall would deffo stay again.

Everything is very clean and in good condition. There is free coffee and tea. Each room has a refrigerator, a hand wash sink and an air condition for cooling and heating.
The only downside is, that the floor is made from wood, so you hear people walking the hallway. But beside from that, I would stay there again. Overall good experience.

I had a wonderful stay at the Baxley Bondi! All staff were super friendly and helpful! The facilities were absolutely beautiful and super clean! It was within walking distance to both Bondi beach and Bondi junction with easy access to public transport ! Loved it !
