Probably THE place to see touring bands in Canberra. It's only a small venue, but lots of vibe. They also get many big international touring names. Good sound, places to sit if you prefer not to get amongst it. Drink selection is pretty good. I've never eaten there because it never seems to be open but is on the pricey side (as are the drinks). I've seen plenty of bands there - Paul DiAnno, Wolfmother, Cosmic Psychos, New Christs/Tumbleweed. Never had a bad night

We've been here twice for concerts. We liked it. Great beer, and before the performance, you can play billiards or have your dinner

Awesome venue, staff are friendly, there’s lots of variety of music when it comes to gigs. As someone who used to have to go to Sydney for gigs, it’s refreshing to be able to get to a venue without worrying about paying loads of money for parking (or trying to find a park in general). Very easy to get to as well which is nice. Have yet to try the grub, but it looks wicked

Highway robbery, $17.50 for vodka soda. $14.50 for a schooner of Carlton!!!
oh and you order food, tap your card, then they want your name and phone number! Mmm good way to protect data 😂😂
And the quality of the performances, sheesh. Was like being at your kids assembly watching the year six band trying to play “stars and stripes”
Absolute waste of money, time and my ears feel assaulted.

Great vibes, great staff. Saw Luca Brasi here a while back and it was such a fantastic little venue. Went to one of their themed dance party nights, it was also fab. Very welcoming, safe and friendly. Toilets are surprisingly clean for a club. A gem of a venue.

Great venue that gets lots of good acts. Have been to quite a few this year, really good to be able to get so close to the action

I thought about posting this, but I think the owners should be ashamed. $15 for a schooner for Carlton Dry is absolutely ridiculous and straight robbery. I have worked in pubs and venues, I know people who own family owned ones, blaming “the cost of living” on that is just absurd. How much was an RTD of Carlton dry? $15 again. How can an RTD and a keg pour be the same price? That’s just one example, basically the entire drinks selection is price gouged. I came to see a concert and to be honest when I ordered drinks it just completely ruined my night. The bass was too strong, and the speakers were too loud. I get it’s a concert and that sounds like a stupid thing to say, but the venue is small so the band was difficult to hear because of how loud it was, it was vibrating/hurting my ear drums 10 metres from the stage, people around me were saying the same thing, and most people were wearing ear plugs. If they just turned it down a bit it would have been way better. Checking out some of these other reviews I’m sure the owners will just say it’s the cost of living that gives them the right to charge that much for a schooner. Lol.

Great venue. Great bands. Ouch to the $14 schooner of standard beer.
To your response: don't be silly, there's nothing cheaper than standard beer except for the $10 standard lemonade for my 15 y.o. son.
Let's reduce your rating to 3 stars for your lame response.
