My wife and I visited after this was recommended to us, and it didn't disappoint. It has a very authentic Australian theme with lots of memorabilia and signs. I had the steak sandwich, and my wife had the savoury spud. They were both delicious and very filling. The total for lunch and drinks was about $50.
The owners are very helpful and accommodating. They have a few very friendly dogs that roam around, but they didn't bother us.
Overall, I would highly recommend the drive to visit but check the opening hours before you leave.

If you are looking for an interesting place with a ton of nostalgia and excellent food. Then I highly recommend you try Scotty’s Garage.
There was 7 of us and we had a great time looking around, plenty of space to roam around and lots of parking and the food was huge portions, tasty and as good as anywhere you find in the city.
Scotty even took us thru his museum that includes a 1940-60s roadside diner!

Wow!!! Absolutely worth the drive in!!! SO much to see!! Lunch in the barn was delicious!! Staff were friendly and super accommodating!! We then went over to the Garage - met Scotty (what a treat!) and again SO much to look at!! I'll absolutely be back!!!

What an awesome place. Scotty was there & wow he has so much knowledge about everything there. Such great childhood memories to look back on & even before. The Diner was amazing, could just sit in there for hours. Fantastic staff.

We had The Best 4 Days Staying in this Lovely Cottage, Absolutely Everything was Perfect!! Also Thanks for Being Pet Friendly!! Thankfully we also were staying over a weekend,,The Barn and Museum was Truly Wonderful and Sarah your Food is Amazing!!

This place is set in the middle of nowhere. When you sit and enjoy your food, you can sit and watch the most beautiful nature.
When waiting to order food, you can see all sorts of old things exhibited all around the place.
Scott has made a museum of old cars and other stuff from the 1950 era. For $10 you can have a tour of the museum.
The owners and staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome.
