Our favorite pastry shop in Toowoomba! We always grab our pastries here to bring to our grandparents when we’re in town for a visit. The pastries are not only delicious but also so pretty. Definitely a go-to spot every time! The pastries in the photo were limited time pastries during the Carnival of Flowers festival ☺️😍

The Baker's Duck has quickly become my go-to spot for a delicious and satisfying pastry or sausage roll. Their baked goods are consistently fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
The sausage rolls are a particular highlight. The pastry is flaky and buttery, perfectly complementing the savory and seasoned meat filling. Each bite is a delightful combination of textures and flavors.
If you're looking for a bakery that truly delivers on taste and quality, The Bakers Duck is a must-visit. I highly recommend giving their sausage rolls and pastries a try. You won't be disappointed!

It looks & feels like a cozy modern bougie bakery place. And it is. They serve great coffee, has good customer service, and really go all out for making the best pastries! I personally their Almond Croissant! It’s flaky, very fragrant and all necessary elements like butteriness, texture and the almond paste within just went so well together! I also had the sage sausage roll - it’s 9/10 for me. They got the seasoning just perfect. I reckon it’s really comparable to Lune, Christian Jacques and Agnes in Brisbane (if not better). Definitely recommended if you’re in town!

Yes believe the hype, this place is truly wonderful ! We came here for brekkie 3 days in a row and everything we tried was scrumdiddlyumptious - flaky, fresh, perfectly sweet (or savoury). The pies are about $10 -$12 were stuffed full of filling and were tasty - recommend trying the chicken carbonara or steak and mushroom. The pastries ($10 -$12) we recommend are the honey toast, vanilla cream thingy, Nutella twice baked (rich and filling). Coffee is also decent. As expected the service is also wonderful.

Rating is based on what I personally ordered- cauliflower/labne pastry thing. It was a bit disappointing, the labne lacked flavour and there was not enough filling for the bun. My friends were all impressed with the sausage rolls they ordered though, both the beef and the pork had good flavour, were moist but not oily and the pastry was deliciously flaky. Prices were also quite steep ($10 for the cauliflower bun, $11 for a sausage roll) more a trendy ‘instagram worthy’ vibe than your average country bakery, so if that’s your thing then you’ll probably feel it’s worth the money

Absolutely packed when we went on the Kings Public Holiday, but was well worth the wait. Have not had croissants this good outside of Melbourne, the Ham and Cheese and Cornflake Honey croissants were 10/10, flawless.
Worth travelling out to Toowoomba just to visit this bakery and try their food.

A bit more on expensive side but they have so many varieties of delicious pastries and baked goodies. With nice coffees, friendly staff and a nice seating area inside & outside, explained the queue even before the shop was opened.

I really like the strawberry Cheese Danish🍰 from this bakery. The Croissant sandwich is delicious too, but it can become overwhelming after eating it. A coffee is not bad.
