Initial impressions where not good. The room looked like it had not been cleaned in a while. The ladies wanted out straight away.
I know this is not true about all apartments, as my sons unit was spotless and recently refurbished.
I'm glad we stayed, the location was superb, the staff friendly and accomodating and we loved having 2 pools.

Had an amazing stay! Reception lady was great and very helpful with everything we needed. We stayed in 6D. The room was beautiful and spacious with a comfy king bed in the main room and 2 singles in the other room. It also had a big spa & the kitchen had what we needed. It had amazing views of the ocean and the Gold Coast. The kids had a blast in the games room and it was perfect for all the family including the little ones to the Nana's. It was great fun for all!||The rooftop pool was absolutely amazing! The great end to the beautiful day watching the sunset in the pool. The restaurant had yummy brekky and great coffee. Its close to some restaurants and kids enjoyed walking along the beach to the numerous playgrounds close by. We even got to see dolphins in the afternoons. We will definitely be back.

From checking in to checking out 7 days later, we had no issues, everyone was friendly, the room always clean and had everything, it actually exceeded our expectations. |The location was amazing away from the hustle and bustle of Surfers, but still driving distance with ease. |Our daughter wanted to live on the rooftop in the pool and spa, the view was amazing. |We had brunch downstairs on our last day and it was amazing too. |We would definitely book again here and highly recommend it.

We checked in for 3 nights with our two little kids and both the rooms were infested with bed bugs. We had to leave the hotel same night. Cups provided in the room also had stain marks and upon asking for pool towels we were told it can be hired. Never going back and only positive was we were fully refunded but holiday spoilt.

So disappointing! Clearly every room is very different! Room was filthy! Blood stains on pillows, rubbish under cupboards (old medicines), dust and dirt every where, old noodles on the floor, food stains on walls, broken facilities. Reported straight away, cleaner was sent to wipe over things immediately. Cleaner admitted it was disgusting and needed a full clean and she would be back to do so in the morning.
Cleaner didn't return.
Spa bath cover snapped and broken, hanging off and child cut his leg on getting out. Was also Reported. Did not get fixed ans unable to use it at all.
Roof leaking in the games room in basement with tarps and buckets all over the floor. Went to order from on-site Cafe within advertised times yet was told they were closing early as was "quiet"

Really disappointed with the standard of apartment. The lack of concern when Reported. Would not recommend and would never stay again.
Couldn't eat off cutlery and Plates...filthy. lounge suite stained and unclean.

Worst place I've stayed in years

I stayed at The Atrium Resort at 510 Marine Parade, Biggera Waters, QLD 4216, Australia with my husband and adult son in their 2-bedder unit. This hotel room is undoubtedly the worst hotel room that I have stayed in during the past 25 years that we have been travelling for golf in Australia. Not only is the apartment filthy, the service provided by the reception lady was also the worst ever that I had experienced. The rattan chairs & table had numerous dark stains and blacken food pieces embedded inside them. The pots, plates and cutlery were oily and had dark food stains on them. It took me nearly an hour to wash and scrubbed them clean! The amenities provided were also scanty, probably enough for only 1 person staying 1-2 nights. Thank goodness that I brought my own toiletries!. There was a cockroach running in the kitchen and my blanket had a blood stain on it. The reception lady refused to provide me with 1 more packet of laundry powder, although we stayed 5 nights as "they are not a hotel". When I replied that I will not stay at this hotel again, she told me "not necessary for me to stay there again"

Indeed, we will NOT stay here at The Atrium Resort ever again, especially when the bare minimum level of cleanliness and services have not been provided! So, visitors please be cautioned!

We were very excited to stay here! we were greeted nicely, then it all turned sour and wow how the room has not had a decent clean in god knows how long! and they call this 4 star HAHA! then they put up a sign that informs all including owners no water and when we ask did you know about this when we booked in a resounding yes was responded! we asked for some discount to be applied and were YELLED AT NO REFUNDS GIVEN! by this lady who thought yelling at a Man wearing a Veteran Cap was a good idea, it was not. so here are the photos all. DO NOT STAY HERE IT IS NOT A FOUR STAR 1 STAR MAYBE

The pool was great but it would be better if the bottom pool was heated, sauna was slow at heating up but good over all, rooms were pretty decently sized but very small kitchens
