Thai Yim was the first restaurant we visited during our weekend stay in Cowra, traveling from Canberra. 🇦🇺 From the moment we entered, I was impressed by the lovely setup and the warm welcome — a kind lady greeted us with a beautiful smile and showed us to our table. ☺️

The entire staff was very friendly and attentive. One of the ladies even came over for a quick, friendly chat, which made us feel especially welcome. 🍲 Our food arrived in about 5 minutes — we had the Thai seafood fried rice and Pad See Ew noodles with pork. 🍜 Both dishes were absolutely delicious and generous in portion, more than enough for two! I also appreciated the hot water they provided upon request. 🫖

Highly recommended for anyone wanting authentic, tasty Thai food at a reasonable price. 💛🧡

Great dining experience at this authentic thai restaurant. Staff is friendly and the food had authentic thai flavors; lucky to have tried the lunch hour specials. I asked for 2 half portions of separate dishes: the pineapple fried rice and the tomyum soup.
The service time is fairly reasonable, ambience is neat and has amazing views.

The people working there are all super friendly and very welcoming. The food was incredible. The satay reminded me exactly of ‘The Malaya’ satay restaurant. It really is that good. All the dishes were fresh and full of flavour. I would highly recommend ‘Thai Yim’ in Cowra. PS. We had already eaten half of it before taking photo. The serving size is very generous too.

First time trying the new establishment.
Beautiful fresh, light and visually appealing food with amazing fresh flavours.
We had entree: 4 steamed dim sims, 4 fried golden bags. Main: chicken panang curry, crispy pork belly with stirfry fresh greens. Then dessert we ordered a fried banana fritter to share with vanilla ice cream.
Came with rice (which we decided to omit) and a complimentary soft drink (which we also omitted and ordered a pot of green tea for 2 instead)
Did not disappoint. Was exactly what we ordered and service was pleasant.
Was priced well for what we ordered.
Will be back more often for sure!

Simply exceptional!
We stopped in on a visit to Cowra and were delighted to find some of the best Thai food we’ve ever had with exceptional service.

Lunch was affordable, flavorful and filling! Four of us enjoyed Thai Basil and two other dishes (forgot what they were now) and it was DELICIOUS.

I highly recommend if you’re in Cowra just stop for lunch or dinner, you will be pleased that you did.

We stopped in Cowra for one night on our way north. We didn’t know where to go for dinner but stopped into Thai Yim after seeing great Google reviews. The Google reviews weren’t lying - this place is great! We had the curry puffs, spicy fried rice and crispy pork belly, all of which were delicious. We had a short wait for our food and the staff brought us over complimentary milk teas - very generous! We will definitely stop past here if we are in Cowra again! Well worth the visit, and much more exciting than a pub! 😀🥘🧋

Went at a quiet time to get lunch this afternoon and the service could not be better with fantastic food to go with it. The staff at Thai Yim Cowra are always so friendly and welcoming with a lovely calm atmosphere and an extensive menu. They also do Takeaway options which is an added bonus, I would recommend everyone to stop in and take a look! Great people and great food.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Thai Yim in Cowra! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by their outstanding customer service and warm hospitality.

We ordered the Chilli Basil Fried Rice and Pad See Ew, and both dishes were bursting with incredible flavors. The balance of spices, freshness of ingredients, and authentic taste truly stood out—some of the best Thai food we’ve had in a long time!

We came at 4:30 pm, which was after their lunch special hours (ending at 3 pm), but they still went above and beyond by offering us free drinks. It’s rare to see such generosity and care for customers.

We were traveling with our 22-month-old, and the staff kindly provided toys to keep our little one entertained while we enjoyed our meal. This thoughtful gesture made the experience so much easier and more enjoyable for us as parents.

The combination of delicious food, exceptional customer service, and small touches like catering to families truly sets this restaurant apart. I only wish there was a restaurant like Thai Yim in Sydney—it’s a hidden gem that Cowra is so lucky to have.

We highly recommend Thai Yim to anyone visiting Cowra. This is a must-visit for great food and hospitality!
