Thai Taywa Massage consistently gives me the best massage I have ever received.

My first visit was booked for an hour but half way through I asked to extend to 90 minutes as it was so very good. Every knot I had was treated and I left totally relaxed.

I am now a regular weekly visitor and have never felt so relaxed.

The business is owned by A .... and the fact she has been in business for 10 years at the same location it is a certain sign of how good they are.

I would recommend A and her team with total confidence and without reservation.

A very unpleasant massage, I felt rushed and during the massage my particular masseuse answered the phone twice while massaging my back! She was taking bookings and had to speak loudly to the client to confirm the time. And then had to call back the client and tell them that the time was not suitable. And then to make matters worse in the towards the end of the massage she was doing laundry! She opened the washing machine as it was spinning because it was making a thumping sound. I requested a Thai massage and I really didn’t feel that it was done properly. I would not recommend this place even though the price is $65 for a Thai massage and they were open late on a Friday, 8 PM. I still would not recommend it.

Found by accident as I was in deep need of a massage. Skillful masseuse who got into my gluts and knots. It was a great massage which I'm feeling better for.

Thai Tawya is such a beautiful massage salon with the most thoughtful staff. They are deeply committed to taking care of you and put incredible effort into understanding your unique preferences; constantly checking if the massage and even the pressure is okay.
I have been going here for years and it is such a relaxing place to come for rest and rejuvenation. They are so talented and priced so much better than a plethora of places in surrounding suburbs.
The staff are always so happy to run into you in surrounding shops, even when you are not getting a massage, and take such time out of their days to ask how you are each week.

Been here a few times over the last few years with my partner when we’ve been in the area - most of the times they’ve been good.
Parking - street parking available.
Price - average and pretty good for the area, also accept health care rebates.
Massage - most of the times the masseuses I’ve had have been good, right amount of pressure and really respond well to where my body appears to be tight.
Environment - pretty small cozy spot, they usually offer tea afterwards too.

I attended this massage place last night and felt very uncomfortable. I’ve had 100’s of massages over the years and have never experienced something so uncomfortable I’ve had to review till now. I walked in and the lady offered me a massage straight away.

I went in and she started massaging my back extremely fast and sporadically - it felt like she had no control over the movements. Each movement was in a different direction and it seemed like she wasn’t targeting anything. The movements were fast, sporadic and and in different directions ( from crossing over my bone to muscle). It felt like she was just rubbing my body randomly rather then massaging

This felt very uncomfortable compared to all other massages I’ve had where you can tell they are targeting particular muscles in a slow strong fashion. This massage was so uncomfortable that I was concerned she didn’t know what she was doing…..having come from a medical background myself I was sure she was not targeting specific muscles and was quite scared she was going to injure me

This continued onto my legs where she massaged my shin bone very quickly rather then targeting the muscles such as my calf’s.

I wish I had felt confident enough to let her know at the time. However, unfortunately not everyone feels confident speaking up for themselves; and I am one of those people who was too scared to speak up. Hopefully they can take this feedback to ensure clients feel safe in the future!
