Overall great. Staff are super friendly. You get a complimentary house beer/ wine per night stayed.
The room was very clean and looked newly renovated.
The pub food was convenient and delicious. There's also a great cafe down the road for breakfast.

It's personal preference, but I found the pillows too thick, and the beds are extremely soft.

There is a flight of stairs to the room, which didn't bother me.
Overall, would recommend.

Solid hotel and good food. However, the rooms have a few issues. There are some things that aren’t really changeable, such as public transport being a little further to access, no lift or accessible entrance, small bathroom sink. Those are relatively minor things for most people. The rooms are fairly minimalist with modern furnishings, good aesthetics, tall shower, good cleanliness, and good climate control. There are a few things that could quite easily be changed to upgrade this to a 4 star or even a 5 star experience. Firstly, there isn’t a desk in the room I stayed in. There aren’t any trouser hangers either. The pillows I found to be far too thick and did not suit me at all for side sleeping , which was made worse by the soft mattress (body sinks, head rises up). If the rooms had thinner pillows as an option, a desk, and trouser hangers I would rate this hotel quite highly. Everything else was great and the service was excellent. The check in process is a bit lengthy but quite relaxed and everything gets explained to you adequately, the smart locks are pretty cool too. The check out process is effortless. The hotel is a bit on the noisy side but a pair of decent earplugs is enough to protect against that.

Excellent little hotel! Surprised by so many things...nice clean cozy rooms, a shower that can actually fit someone 6'4, A FREE DRINK AT THE BAR! To top it off, LATE CHECKOUT! After a big night out, was nice to sleep in to 11:30 LOL. And PARKING FOR GUESTS!

Super friendly service! Good food as well.

Only minor complaints...no fridge. No coat hooks (silly complaint, I know). This is definitely our home base next time we stay in the area.

I did not have the privilege to stay here because of Booking.com F*ck up. However, I would like to share my great experience with the manager Nat. She was very kind and understanding what situation I am at, trying to check-in before heading to my now brother in-law wedding, finding out that even though I got confirmation from Booking.com, they didn't organise the booking for me and hotel was full for that night. Nat offered me hot beverage and sparkling, while helping me on the phone to deal with useless Booking.com. She was amazing and really tried to do everything she could to find an alternative option for me. I would recommend to book with them directly :). Staff is a 5 star all day! Thank you so much!

Never stayed in a pub before main thing was I wanted my own bathroom ✔️ The rooms have been renovated really nice work. Staff very friendly & helpful. Definitely will be back when in Sydney.

Staff was nice. Room was clean. Newly remodeled bathroom. Bed was too soft for my preference. Dodgy neighborhood and poor sound insulation. Casino downstairs so smells of cigarettes. Looks like owners are trying to upgrade it.

Most comfortable damn bed I've slept in which is great as a biker sleeping on a blow up mattress that loses air! Only let down is no toilets in single rooms and the pub meal was tremendously expensive with a tiny piece of steak offered. Also, why does music need to be played in the corridors until 11.30pm at night? Otherwise it was an overall nice stay and the location is spot on..
