What a great discovery for us ! My daughter and I decided to have breakfast in Tamworth and wanted to try somewhere new. We had heard Teamo made great coffee so this was the place we chose . So happy we did. Absolutely delicious food, damn good coffee and very friendly staff. We will certainly be back !

Very rude dismissive customer service, came in before close and was told there were no drinks available.. in a tea shop.. boiling water and a tea bag is too much effort 5mins before close?

Edit: reply - you are in a customer service hospitality based industry, and my experience as a potential customer were as I mentioned. There are a lot more awesome places that care about their customers so I will frequent their businesses instead ?

I've heard that Teamo Teahouse is a time-honoured stop not only for travellers but also locals of Tamworth and now I understand why. First of all, the owner is easily reachable as she is always there ensuring the quality of everything that they serve, they have very friendly and efficient staff, a cozy and cute space at the back, and they serve delicious food in very generous portions and their coffee is a must! Beautiful texture! What an excellent service, will definitely return!

We had breakfast here and the coffee and tea were good and came out super fast. It's a shame about the meals; after explaining to them that I had an appointment, the toasted sandwich was a reasonable time but they used reconstituted chicken on the chicken, cheese & tomato toasted sandwich. Then my Eggs Benedict with avo and mushies was another 15 minutes after they bought out the toasted sandwich and the avo was borderline off. I also requested hollandaise sauce on the side but it wasn't. Needless to say, I was late for my appointment due to this. Tamworth is a major centre, there is no reason to use reconstituted chicken, and if we'd known we would never have ordered it. To your response; when we entered you said to take a seat and you would come and take our order. We chose a table and sat down but no one came out to take our order so I walked back in to order. You called your young assistant as you were serving coffee and I particularly mentioned my appointment as I only had 30 minutes. There was one table of 2 in the restaurant just finishing and one other couple in the whole place, but you were taking coffee orders from the takeaway window. If you think that was busy I'd hate to see the place full or really pumping.
Fair enough about the chicken. Frozen chicken isn't that appetising either, maybe that's why he thought it was reconstituted.

I've breakfasted here before when it was excellent on all criteria.
Last Wednesday at 9.00am, the sausages and onions were burnt - while it wasn't particularly busy and there were 3 staff on, it seems the owner's absence until we were leaving made all the difference.

This lovely little place absolutely whispered "come back again", and I replied, "See you soon!" Can't believe it took me so long to find it...
(The food may well deserve a 5, but I only had chai and toast so didn't feel justified in giving it more than 4...next time ? My chai was perfect)

A unique, quirky little cafe. Excellent food & coffee at reasonable prices. The indoor area & back area are not easily accessible if you have mobility issues, but you can get takeaways from the cafe window.
