Was in the area and thought I’d pop in for a coffee and sausage roll. Despite some of the poor reviews, was greeted by a very friendly lady and the coffee and food were delicious.

Would encourage anyone that has good experiences in hospitality to provide positive reviews as those that don’t are always the most vocal and may not represent what the average experience at an establishment will be.

The two ladies who were working there were great. Plenty of personality. I had a cottage pie, it was the nicest pie I have ever had. That's a big statement but well deserved. Service was great and prices fair. 👍👍👍 We will definitely be back to try something else on the menu 😋

Never been to a bakery so many times an not been able to get bread. Kind of ridiculous, if people are constantly asking for bread and your sold out wouldn't you just bake some more?
Nonetheless the people are lovely.

My beef and salad roll (small sourdough from shelf- not premade) @$13.95 was overpriced and undersized !

Worse bakery I’ve ever been too in all of Nz and Aus. Highly do not recommend. Overly high prices for low quality food. Poor customer service and above all that, burnt my milk for my coffee, how do you burn milk?

Service was amazing, atmosphere is good clean and tidy shop, I got a plain pie and it was sadly not enjoyable, salty filling, very thick pie crust and was hard. Not something I would want to get again. Will try something new next time in the hopes it’s better.

Firstly, THANK YOU from an Aussie expat for still having laningtons (can’t find them anywhere any more) and good ones to boot.

This is a clean, humble cafe that does what it should- good range of pies and pastries, in a low key environment, with sparkling, friendly helpful service. My Mum and I called in after a funeral snd we really felt welcome and well served. Keep up the good work!

The best service!! Skye is an absolute delight. More chicken pies would be great, maybe satay! A great place for a coffee and cake and as i said the staff, especially Skye are a fabulous addition to this business.
