Such an iconic tropical setting; delightful and engaging company where strangers become friends over a meal. Loved the delicate Chaffey Bros Rose as our drink of the day and the presentation, flavours and textures of the sumptuous exciting menu made this a day to remember.

Saturday's Cafe del Mar Sunset event was quite dismal. Very little food available - nowhere near enough for the numbers of people. Drinks stalls ran out of glasses. Music was awful. At $120 per ticket, it was very disappointing.
Sunday's event wasn't much better. Food was disappointingly bland with limited range of stalls - beef, fish, pork, chicken, lamb or vegetables. The lamb with rice was tasty enough to give the event 1 star. Otherwise even a single star wouldn't have been deserved.

The hot food was good but issues ruined the experience . You get fleeced by the cashless wristband tech which charges fee upon fee to spy on what I ate and drank. It also failed to work :(. Also clueless and at times rude staff who did not know how to fix issues and even which restaurants the food came from because no labels were shown. What is this festival for . Avoid this pointless event, such a rip off.

Amazing food and wine festival, spectacular line up of the talented chefs from around the country, have attended twice previously and soo excited to go back this year , thank you for doing such a great event in the tropical paradise 🥂😍🙌

We went to the Saturday night festival which cost $120 a ticket,it was a disastrous,our free drink was a beer which was fine for my husband,the other drink was terrible I perfer wine no choice.There was only 3 food stations which had very long queues & wandering waiters with food if you were lucky to see them,it did not seem to cater properly for the amount of people that attended.We would not attend another Food for taste festival as we felt it was overpriced for what you got!!
