Basic amenities compared to other places but the spectacular view ? was amazing. I really did enjoy myself when I was visiting over the weekend and a lovely cafe across from this place which made great coffees. ☕️

Reminder for those who are first-timers:
-20c for hot showers for a few minutes
-No reception if you aren't with Telstra.

Pet friendly which was a bonus! Will definitely come again as it was a place to unwind and relax from reality.

Great cabins that have been recently renovated. Nice location near the beach with a large cafe nearby. The price was reasonable too unlike the Big4 dump we stayed at.

My family of 3 adults and 1 puppy stayed in the lagoon retreat on Saturday night.No complaints of any note of the cabin,as it's a dog friendly and overall,was pretty good .The reception lady was very nice,and i would've loved to have stayed longer as we enjoyed it.We will return.Thank you

Do not go here at all. We were given Cabin 5 for $166 a night. I was shocked at how filthy the place was. Claudia the manager is nice and happy to refund as we had to run away from there. My kids are asthmatic and the stench in the cabin was unbearable. We drove 3hrs there and 3hrs back home as there was no where else for us to sleep.
They could at least cover the lounge to hide the dirt and the mattress. The mattress brown and disgusting. This is not Australian standard mate. They need to audit that place and shut it down till it's renovated.

Nice park on the beach, very peaceful. Plenty of wildlife and friendly staff. Park is not on town water, so I suggest you fill your tanks with water before you arrive. No complaints from us, we will be back.

Paid $49 per night for the place, it’s not school holidays .no water for the caravan site, bathroom closed for renovation, dumeing point closed. Merry Beach is better and it’s $35 a night . Very disappointed that place

The bed was nice and firm. The kitchen had a great amount of utensils and pots and pans. |The bathroom was a little shabby. |It was wonderful we could stay with our dog. |The pool was nice but had some algae on the bottom of the pool… I suspect due to the abundance of birds in the area. |The birds were fantastic and the sunrise on one of our sunny days was spectacular.

What a shame would have loved to write a glowing review but this place is in dire need of renovations. The location is sensation with the most amazing beach right at your door step however the park was a let down. The bathrooms are disgraceful, you pay 30c for a 3 minute shower and then most of the time the coin machine in the showers was jammed or the hot water was not working. The grout looked like it had never been cleaned, the toilets hardly flushed and it was constantly filthy. When they did come to clean it would be at 8am when everyone would be trying to go shower. The gardens around the park are nice with lots of large grassed areas but powered sites are super small with many crammed between residents annexes. Many would be challenging to park caravan in. The pool area was okay, pool is old, cold and needs a Reno. If you can get passed the old facilities and just want a great location then go for it, otherwise there are much better places to stay for the price.
