We held my daughter's wedding at the Terrace facility, and we would absolutely recommend this venue. The Staff: Service and Preparations were first class. And of course, the view back across Sydney Harbour is amazing. The facilities are well equipped for all requirements; (including bridal suite with private bathroom). It was an amazing time for all

As a DJ who had the pleasure of performing at this venue, I can’t speak highly enough about the experience. The staff here were not only friendly but also incredibly accommodating, ensuring everything ran smoothly for the event. The backdrop of the stunning harbor views added a touch of magic to the atmosphere. It’s a fantastic place to bring your music to life and create unforgettable moments. We had our wedding at the Taronga Centre, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the very beginning, their team took exceptional care of us. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but the staff handled every detail with professionalism and care, easing all our concerns.

A special mention to their incredible event managers, Brooke and Rhiann, who went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. Thanks to their dedication, we were able to relax and enjoy our special day without a single worry. In the lead-up to the wedding, Brooke's calm and reassuring presence, along with her impeccable service, kept both the bride and groom at ease throughout the process.

The venue itself was breathtaking. The stunning views, especially during sunset, made for the perfect backdrop. We also appreciated the privacy—there were no zoo visitors during our ceremony, and the team ensured our event felt intimate and tucked away from outside interruptions.

Weddings at Taronga Centre seem to have a redeeming quality in the form of a nice view. However, the mediocre food might not make up for it entirely.

The appetizers were okay, but nothing spectacular. The presentation was nice, but the flavors were lackluster. The choices listed 3 options, but most of them tasted bland.

The entrees were similarly average, with no standout dishes that left a lasting impression. The portions were generous, but the flavors were unremarkable. The quality of the ingredients was passable, but they weren't prepared in a way that really made them shine.

The desserts were a little better than the main courses, but they still didn't wow me. The selection was limited, but the options that were available were fairly tasty. They were a nice way to finish off the meal, but not something that I would go out of my way to order again.

Overall, while the food wasn't amazing, the nice view of the function room made up for it somewhat. The service was prompt and courteous, and the atmosphere was pleasant.

We had our wedding at the N'galawa Terrace and would 100% recommend it to others! The view here is unparalleled and the facilities are well equipped for both your guests and your wedding party (including a bridal suite with private bathroom).

Massive thanks to Rhiann and Brooke for being an absolute pleasure to work with, as well as the rest of the staff for running things so smoothly behind the scenes. Our wedding planner, Brooke, was so patient in answering all our questions promptly and making sure we had everything we needed throughout the planning process – her efforts definitely made a huge difference and were very much appreciated.

Perfect wedding or function venue. Plenty of space for guests to sit or mingle. Amazing harbour view from the sweeping balcony. Sunset over the Sydney Harbour Bridge is spectacular. Dance floor is great for showing off your moves.

We where so fortunate to have our daughters weddings reception at the Zoo with accommodation.
We cannot talk highly enough on the venue, staff and location. Thank you Taronga Park for making our daughter's wedding one the highlights in our life

The Gili Rooftop was amazing for New Years with view of the Sydney Harbour fireworks from end to end and the Bridge. It is around 3-4km from the rooftop and the bridge and even with the low visibility of 15km due to the fires we still had an amazing view. NYE at this location even with the price tag was well worth the experience. There were 80 people booked for NYE 2020 however if it was full at 150 people it would have been over crowded. The music and vibe was better in the ballroom sit down dinner however the view from where we were was better in my view.

Some people went back to their rooms to get this white robes, didn’t really go with the party atmosphere but hey! Each to their own.
