Overnight stopover en-route to Geelong, part of a Big trip. March 2025. EDITED, to reflect incorrect website originally reviewed, as noted in owner response.
We did not pre book or phone ahead. Powered site , advised on arrival that the park was under maintenance, no communal facilities-shower/toilets available, only ensuite, $50.
Should have called ahead and we would have planned better.
Site was concrete/gravel/tree mess and backed onto the commercial sized bins
Ensuite is poorly refurbished, basin has minimal surrounds to put your stuff, limited hanging, mixer tap is outside of the shower cubicle, shower curtain allows water to puddle in the bathroom area.
Water behind the toilet was either leakage from it or the shower. No exhaust fan, minimal mesh ventilation in the window and a gap under the door for the bugs.
Limited road noise, near the highway and opposite the public hospital.
Wouldn’t recommend, certainly no value at $50 night. Staff were lovely but unimpressed with everything else.

Stayed there for about 2 months for work purposes. Stayed in one of the old cabins

Had the toilet outside the cabin which wasn’t a great experience. Best for people ready to experience adventures including spotting big insects in bathroom as well as outside the cabin (big spider which I experienced- didn’t get much help from the caravan park people after hours).

Some staff can be rude at times. The power in those old cabins can run out during the evening/night. Internet signal isn’t always great. Security cameras are not placed everywhere in caravan park. There’s no security cameras on some streets.

Otherwise, great place to experience natural beauty and birds chirping during the day

Clean and comfortable cabin which look to be new. Some road noise being next to the highway. The cabin and grounds are well maintained. The office guy was friendly and helpful. Good shop for snacks and essentials. The only thing that was missing was Wi-Fi which is not available.

Stayed about a year ago, for a couple of nights as I had treatment at the hospital. Was recently browsing google maps, read the recent reviews and figured I'd add my two cents worth in the mix. - yes there is reason for the lack of stars further down.

I was initially looking for a potential place to camp on the regular after monthly treatments, and this was ideal walking distance.
we were placed on an en-suite site which we did request, and was quite clean. it rained heavily, and the area was subject to a power outage, fortunately did not bother us, and I was able to power the ensuite instant gas hot water from my inverter at that point.
Not managers fault. I later left a review on wikicamps, making mention of the size of gravel choice on the site, and how uncomfortable it was on bare feet. I suggested the use of slippers or thongs.
where this site lost some stars - the male manager upon my exit had found and read my review, and chose to confront me about it in a very passive aggressive manner - and insisted that I change my reviews. When I asked on what platform, he looked at me wide eyed, almost in a panic/rage.
When I presented the fact that I am high-functioning autistic, and tend to be direct and logical with my reviews, he angrily countered with "we have many autistic people here!"
I might be inclined to agree with that given his people skills.
Unsure if same person is still employed, but later reviews seem to suggest he is.

I agreed that I would change my review - and later changed my reviews to reflect his behavior.
Complaints about reviews rarely improve them.
From what I see they will look you up to see if they can match your name to your stay and if they can't find it, claim that you have the wrong park - this feels like borderline stalking, but is a common practice in the industry.

Pretty hard to get the park wrong on google maps, they are clearly marked guys. To date, we have stayed elsewhere even at the cost of a taxi to-from hospital, simply to avoid this site.
I will have treatments for the forseeable future, and this could have been a beneficial and profitable arrangement for the both of us.

Stayed here once (Fully Self Contained Motorhome). Owner/Manager tried to convince us not to come - swimming pool not open (July?), wet and working on ablution block. Indicated we did not need either and stayed one night and had our MRI/Cat Scans. Tried to book in a couple of months later, arriving 5pm ish. Sorry we close at 4.00pm! Went to Big 4 - really friendly and well set up. This time (Oct) pulled in 2 mins past 4pm Owner/Manager leaving office. Sorry, have no room. In doing a U turn there were dozens of good sites! My recommendation - go to Big 4. This one should either get a new manager or go broke.

Travelled for work, great service with friendly staff. Clean and comfortable cabins. Will definitely stay again. Appreciated the after hours guy assisting me when I was locked out of the cabin late at night, thank-you

Wanted to book a powered site. The male manager is obnoxious. He insisted on a driver's licence and credit card but refused to accept a digital licence. Also I was told they had no showers or toilets. He was very indifferent saying there is 2 more parks down the road if you're not happy. Absolute knob. Obviously not his business, I feel sorry for whoever owns it as he is throwing away business.

Been staying during the week for work on and off for most of the year. Clean and modern ensuites sites, well cared for with little road noise. Reasonable prices compared to the others in town. Friendly and helpful staff. |Could not ask for more
