We wanted to experience this cafe after seeing it on Instagram. The cookies and cream milkshake definitely lived up to our expectations. It was served on a platter with all sorts of delicious goodies, including lollies, biscuits, an upside-down ice cream cone, a lamington and lots of cream. We shared the dish as there were too many sweets for just one person. We saw lots of nice looking burgers being served as well. We'll go back to try one another day. Highly recommend if you're after an American diner experience.

The food was amazing, huge meals for the price as well. Very friendly staff, my dog was welcome as well.

Definitely recommend going, we got the breakfast menu and couldn't have been happier. 3 different dishes, and everyone was very content with orders.

I'll be back here. The food was great, the burger made from fresh ingredients and fresh cooked crispy chips. In an old school style dinner.

I could really picture myself a 50's dinner with a few modern comforts. But still keeping the 50's atmosphere.

Dined here with the family - good to find it open on a Monday night. The food was tasty and reasonably priced with good serving sizes. The burgers came with fresh brioche buns and the foot long hotdogs were unsurprisingly huge. Would come back again.

The food was good. We had schnitzel and I especially love the salad with roasted capsicum. The dressing was refreshing, but the gravy was clumpy. We also tried the yankee burger which was okay. The pulled pork was a little dry. The chips were crispy and well seasoned which we enjoyed. We ordered hawaiian pizza too which was a good size and value for price. Took awhile to get the food but staff were friendly. We didn’t have to pay extra for takeaway containers. The place is clean and a wide variety of food to choose from.

I’m sorry to be the bearer of a bad review and never wrote one before, however I’ve never felt more compelled to tell of a restaurant experience more than this…

Please don’t go to Tamborine Diner. My girlfriend and I went last night as we spent the last two nights at Mt Tamborine and saw the same video and decided to go try out their food and it was absolutely HORRID.

I ordered ribs: The ribs had so much uncooked fat on it, the sauce wasn’t nice at all, I got vege and mash on the side (as we already had chips with the chicken wings) and the vege could easily be mistaken for an Asian style dish (if you had a blindfold on and asked what were you eating), the mash had the so much cracked pepper in there that had me questioning “why”.

We also ordered soy honey chicken wings (note: not listed as honey soy like every other place would list it), and for good reason… the sauce used would easily be considered to the taste of a soy sauce used from a side condiment at an Asian restaurant and far out, was it absolutely drowned in the sauce, there was literally a pool of it at the bottom of the dish, plus there was no honey taste at all. The deep fry of the chicken wings was just mushy and the only compliment of the entire meal was that the 5 chips that weren’t in the soy pool tasted nice and the bottled Coke Zero was true to taste.

After spending $72.62 for these two dishes, we stopped 5 mins into eating the meal, plates still uneaten with food and promptly drove 2 mins down the road where we had Italian dinner the night before at a place called Belvedere which was absolutely delicious. It made redemption for the pure disappointment from this Diner.

Please everyone, save your money, avoid disappointment and think of an alternative outing.

Nice place with great food and huge portions. I really enjoyed the burger because the beef patty was not greasy or fatty. Great value for money, some of the younger staff seemed quite disorganised. I knew there was a dinner in the area but didn't realise this was it from the outside, I thought it was a takeaway pizza place

Such a beauty of a spot! Delicious food (pancakes are not to be missed!) and the two gorgeous ladies behind the counter were sweethearts! Thank you for a lovely lunch, we enjoyed the chats and you were right, we loved the sunshine coast! Thanks from 2 kiwis and a south african 🙂
