A wonderful 'estate' with your own private cottage. Deloraine is not a bad place to stop overnight on the banks of the beaut Meander River.
Aside from the plague of rabbits around the extensive grounds, the remote position of the toilet from the bedroom , and a very squeaky bedhead that will keep you awake at times during the night, it's a good place to stay.

What a darling little cottage, so cosy and warm set on the grounds of a grand old manor, our little overnight stay was made all the more memorable with the presence of the local main street with the afternoon jazz and dinner at a local cafe/ pub. Also was excited to find a platypus exploration trail and a guide (when rivers not in flood).

Two elderly people will constantly ask you questions and make snide comments at you even though you've done nothing to them.
Nasty, arrogant and condescending.
Especially the old man, one is left with the feeling its time for a retirement home.

The Gardener’s Cottage is fantastic accommodation, it boasts historic charm with a modern twist.
We were greeted by the owner and shown around while being given some background history about the residence.
Highly recommend if you're in the need to stay in Deloraine.

Wonderful greeting by the owner and a great relaxing place to stay, plenty of room and oh so comfortable chairs. A bit of a design issue relating to the kitchen and bathroom but otherwise I would stay again. The owner was so nice and welcoming. And you can walk to town from the cottage.

Four of us stayed last weekend. The property is very lovely, the Coach House was very warm and cozy with all amenities we required. The makings of a beautiful breakfast, it would have been nice to explore the grounds a little more, we will have to return for another night.
We were met by Ron who made us feel very welcome.

The most elegant and high quality accommodation. And so peaceful!! The hosts Lynne and Rod are very helpful and welcoming. A pleasure to stay with them. You’ll want to go back as soon as you have some free time again. Highly recommended!!
