We stayed a week at Taabinga Homestead and we can’t say a bad thing at all. The location was excellent, extremely quiet (just what we liked) Libby was amazing! We were able to wander around the farm and see the horses, chickens and cows. Such a great week! Will definitely recommend to family and friends. Thank you Libby

My wife and I have just spent two glorious days and nights at the Homestead. The whole place is a living museum, oozing character and style, but with every modern convenience inside the dwellings. The hosts are thoughtful, helpful and friendly without being intrusive. Being well off the main road, it is delightfully quiet and peaceful and yet handy to so many places.

A wonderful experience for anyone wanting tranquility you can't find on the coast or in a city. We rented a massive cottage and lived the rustic charm of the farm... the fireplace is outstanding. The kitchen is awesome. My family used it as a base camp while we explored the local South Burnett area... Kingaroy and the Bunya Mountains National Park are both close. There are wineries in the area too. This place was perfect for my family. I akso think it would be excellent for a retreat or workshops or a weekend get away. The owners are lovely. Their dog is fun and friendly with the kids too

This accommodation was absolutely great, My husband and I stayed in Single Mens Quarters for 2 nights early September 2018.. It is in a rural setting and was so quiet and peaceful. Everything you could possibly need was there. It was exceptionally clean TV reception was good. There were two decks for relaxing on and the bird life and wallabies came around early morning with no disturbance to you.There is a fire place, so it was very cosy in the cold weather with plenty of wood supplied. The bed was very comfortable with nice linen supplied. It is a short drive to Kingaroy if you need shopping. I would highly recommend this accommodation for those who like a quiet rural stay at a very clean and well equipped property. Oops- I forgot to mention Libby our hostess was very helpful and just a great lady.

What a gorgeous place! We loved the peace and tranquillity, walking around the property, and watching kangaroos graze on the lawns. Our cottage was amazing: a fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, TV and DVDs, books, a veranda, and lovely breezes throughout. I'd highly recommend a weekend here. We just loved it.

This heritage listed Homestead surpassed all of our expectations. The accommodation was well equipped and very comfortable. There was a wide variety of wildlife, particularly birds, to keep us entertained. Will definitely return again.

2 nights at Taarbinga in the Singlemens Quarters was so relaxing it felt like a week. Hubby didn’t want to leave and our dog had her first experience meeting wallabies and bulls - both of which sent her into a state of quivering excitement! Think she is still looking for wallaby smells now at home. Our cottage was delightful, so very clean and fully equipped. Bed was comfy, towels were soft and the grounds are just lovely - to sit on the deck and just enjoy the surrounds was so relaxing, no ph, no social media, just the birds and my book. Hubby loved his cow herding, took him back to happy times on his family’s property. Thanks Colin & Libby for our brief stay in your little piece of paradise.
