We had the most perfect time staying at The Hideaway, and absolutely fell in love with the interior of the cottage. DOnna and Matt have done such a beautiful job pulling together all the little details — it’s an absolute gem. Every single need was not only met but totally exceeded. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing or thoughtful stay. THANK YOU!

We had our family reunion and it was one of the best times we had as a family. The place was beautiful we love the chapel where our children shared their realities in life. Mat was so helpful and a real gentleman. Thank you Donna and Matt. God bless

This was our 5th family get together at Sylvan Glen and it was fabulous as always. The accommodation is perfect for our 4 generation large family. Unfortunately the golf course was not playable this time but we still found plenty to entertain us.

We recently celebrated my husband’s 70th birthday at Sylvan Glen. 46 adults and 8 kids across three generations! From the minute we arrived on the Friday afternoon to leaving on the Sunday afternoon, everything was perfect. Donna & Matt were so helpful and responsive, and a delight to deal with. An outdoor BBQ & Firepit on the Friday night. Kids could enjoy games, football golf, and running around on the course. The house, cottages and rooms were clean and beautifully appointed. So much character! Our friends and family enjoyed a three course sit down dinner on the Saturday evening. Food was superb and we loved the local wines recommended by Donna. |Highly recommend Sylvan Glen for any special event, or even just a weekend away.

A charming old weatherboard must be post war, in black paint and corrugated iron roof farm house full of atmosphere, with the main residence comprising 12+BRs some with private some with shared bathrooms. Fully self contained kitchen to service 26+ people. Wouldn't change anything. A nine hole golf course for fun and giggle. Understand quality of the course cannot be much more than my back yard but a more frequent cut in peak season would be good. Took longer to find our golf balls in the middle of the fairway but had a great laugh. Loved it.

The Hideaway- Such a fantastic space for a retreat. We stayed at the Hideaway and took our dog who loved all the space and smells. The owners were efficient and friendly with communication before our stay and were on hand if we needed anything at all. The outdoor hot tub was amazing and the view down the valley was lovely. We would happily stay again.

Our wedding weekend at Sylvan Glen Estate was a beautiful!

The venue is absolutely stunning and I cannot count the number of times our family guests admired the location and charm of the entire place.

I knew that if it rained I would still love the wet weather option, and given we needed it I am also glad this was the case!

I truely appreciate Donna and the team for their support - including for making the Friday pre-wedding dinner smooth as our immediate family came together.

My husband and I enjoyed a much needed mid-week stay at The Hideaway. Absolute bliss! Beautifully appointed studio room and ensuite with multiple personal touches. Stunning views across the golf course and paddocks. We used the used the outdoor tub and fire pit - just magic under the stars! We also enjoyed a round of golf on the beautiful estate. Whilst the course is not competition grade (following drought damage) it’s perfect for couples/friends/groups who want to enjoy a local game or a beautiful walk. Matt and Donna are wonderful hosts. Will definitely book again!
