Clean, simple but elegant.

2 single beds pushed against each other. Good quality mattress. Extremely comfortable.

Found Sofa bed made up. Thank you for extra effort in all the small details.

Had an awesome time.

Unfortunately internet was weak.

Yet good experience, will be back for sure!

My wife booked this for a 3 night stay here as they allow dogs, and we found it to be a quiet and secluded spot with terrific views towards Sydney and the rising sun. However, the price we paid in Mid September (no school holidays) was exorbitant at over $500 per night incl cleaning fee(!) and dog fee (why?).
For that price, we were expecting a very luxurious house. It's definitely not that!
Dated fittings and fixtures, a door lock which sometimes doesn't work, sheets that were pilled, stained, synthetic and quite old, the beds are in need of renewal, no bedside tables to rest book, etc, no wifi (which wouldn't be a deal breaker for some). One of the downstairs bedrooms was too smelly to use, as was the adjacent bathroom (lucky we didn't need it). The upstairs bathroom floor came up filthy when a towel was used to mop up a water spill. There are two coffee machines, one of which does not work well and the other needs pods. There are no instructions for using them. Overall the cleaning was not up to the price paid, especially considering the cleaning fee asked.

The lack of wifi meant that no streaming services were available on the TV and the mobile reception is poor so I couldn't hot spot to the TV.
Aside from the views, other positives are that it's easy to get to and the fireplace is a good one, easy to start, and effective at heating the whole house. Plenty of wood is available. The house design is pretty good, with lots of storage (which you probably won't use), and they provide a telescope which allowed a good view of the moon at moon rise. There are videos (poor choice in our opinion) and plenty of books with many good titles. A talking point is the suit of armour standing in the lounge room. The agency was very responsive and when we had difficulty with the TV, they sent the caretaker in the evening, very promptly. There are sufficient kitchen implements supplied.

In short, it would be good value at half the price, but poor value at the price they asked, and the worst thing is, you don't know until you are committed, hence this review.

This place was awesome!! The views are stunning, bush scenery brilliant and great facilities. The nearby swimming hole is perfect on a hot day! I would go back in a heartbeat 🙂

Amazing view, clean and modern. However... No air con so don't come in summer when it is hot.
