A group of us booked this hotel due to its location and it exceeded our expectations. Rooms very well appointed, soundproof, with a house sized bathroom and plenty of space to move around. Comfy bed. Staff were friendly, professional and efficient. The lobby on level 8 was like being transported to a tranquil escape, even though you are in the heart of the city. A minute to the transport, restaurants and shops. The pool was a bonus. Would recommend staying here.

Really good hotel. Excellent location close to tram stop and everything. Service was great, friendly staff and rooms clean and well maintained. The hotel seems new. Pool area is great.

The bar and restaurant are awesome.

A few things to improve : the lifts were having some issues and long queues happened. Not terrible... It doesn't have a spa pool with warm water. Sometimes service in the restaurant forgot to ask if you wanted dessert....

Was gifted a night here as a birthday present and what a great birthday it was. Everyone I interacted with that worked at the hotel was friendly and went out of their way to make my stay an amazing experience. The room i had was very luxury and an amazing mini bar as well as every possible amenities I could need. The pool is beautiful and I basically spent the majority of my stay at the pool area as it was hot the day that I was there. The food at the restaurants is outstanding, I had the Petite Four dessert in the restaurant and every bite was just delicious!!! I really recommend trying this while you are here. The buffet breakfast the next morning was one of the best buffet breakfast's I have ever seen!!! I ate so much hehe. If you are looking for a night of luxury in Sydney, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lovely hotel.

Arrived and the concierge off the street and reception was efficient and pleasant. Hotel held our bags and we went shopping until the room was ready. On arrival room wasn’t completely clean, needed vacuuming, had no coffee and fridge was dirty (as were the sides of the fridge where it sat in the cabinet. Bathroom was fresh and clean and was refurbished. We had a balcony room and it had a beautiful view but the balcony needed cleaning and outside furniture was looking a bit sad. Informed reception about cleaning and it was re-cleaned before our return. Over the week we stayed we had to ask for coffee pods most days as they kept forgetting and on the second to last day housekeeping left our door open and we were lucky no one came and took our valuables. I raised this with reception and all they said was sorry and that they’d update housekeeping. We also had access to the exec lounge and we used it at least 2x per day, staff were lovely but again the space needed proper cleaning and the serving area needed a good scrub. On a positive note the staff are nice, room service was quick and very tasty and the location is great for easy cbd access, transport and of course the shopping.

Being a Diamond member doesn’t seem to count and the late checkout seems to be more of a favour by the front desk than a perk . The front desk and duty manager may need some training on guest service with a smile. Calls don’t get picked up as well.

Also when I checked it there was fruit pieces on the carpet which needed to be cleaned out keeping me waiting after a tiring 15 hour flight.

The location is fine but the quality of food in the executive lounge and the restaurant leave a lot to be desired for a 5 star.

Stay here often but will reconsider given the experiences for the last couple of trips.

Wonderful customer service! I would definitely stay again. Nice room size with large tub and tv. Very comfortable bed and room was ready early after we got off a long 16hr flight.

I booked this hotel with my two adult daughters as we were seeing Coldplay. The check in was a breeze,Audrey was delightful and as we were early we sat in the executive lounge and had a quick drink, it wasn’t long and they phoned to say the room was ready and apparently a better room too. We booked an executive room so level 25 and this gave us access to the executive lounge. Now this was the showstopper.. we didn’t need to buy food for the entirety of our stay which was two nights! The executive lounge is an absolute must! I could go on about this but check it out yourself ! So worth the extra money. The fridge in the lounge wasn’t working which was a little downside as the drinks weren’t always cold, but that was all. Our room was lovely but as there were three of us, I had to ask for extra of everything as it wasn’t set up for three people. The tv didn’t work to watch Netflix and despite someone coming up to try and fix it, it still didn’t work so there went our movie night ! The coffee machine also didn’t work, but someone came and replaced it. The staff were lovely, the location of the hotel is superb and I honestly don’t think I would stay anywhere else in Sydney

I enjoyed my stay and was impressed by staff williness to help, including when we turned up from the UK and were given access to the showers in the gym to freshen up - really grateful for that. Bar is pleasant and breakfast very good. Rooms are high quality and not shoebox size, all in all great experience. Someone moaned at us "the bar is closed" when were standing in the bar at 5AM having woken up due to jetlag which was a bit annoying as clearly we were not wanting to use the bar. Other than that perfect.
