Based on the reviews we had very low expectations and were pleasantly surprised. The staff were nice and helpful, the room was very comfortable and clean and the heater was on when we arrived. The motel is easy walking distance into town and had parking in front of the rooms. It is by no means a luxury hotel but it is not trying to be. Three adults for one night - perfect! Had a fridge, kettle, mugs and coffee/tea in the room.

Stayed at this hotel for a night.
One of the worst places one could stay.
Tiny room with next to no amenities.
No table, no chairs, One microwave and a toster in a very dirty common area for more than 20 rooms. No wash basin or paper towels. When asked for a chair and table for the room, staff rudly replied, this is all you get in budget hotel. I payed $295 for this budget hotel on a week day.
Please don't stay here if you have other options. You will be better off sleeping in your car.

They went above & beyond. I rang on closing time on a Sunday night. My daughter had been in Cooma hospital and needed somewhere to stay. They made arrangements so when she could get there in the middle of the night, the heater was on and she was safe for the night. Thanks ?

Wifi doesn't work in rooms. Blinds didn't shut properly, so light from the porch was shining into the bedroom all night. Neither were ideal for a work trip, where Wifi and a good night's sleep are needed. Rooms are very small. At least it was clean!

I was absolutely disgusted with indian manager l booked a room after driving from Albury at 8.30pm roughly my booking was accepted when l arrived at the Swiss motel soon after l rang the mobile phone number and got told office closes 6.30pm then don't take people's money or even better try handing the keys to me l definitely would not recommend or suggest you go

Absolutely disgusting. Mould in bathroom. Horrible smell. Do not stay here. Rude staff. Run down and old. Needs a renovation. Tiny fridge just stuffed in a corner. Never stay here. Rip off

We were after a bed for the night but didn't want to pay a fortune. Our check-in was managed quickly and courteously. Looked like the door was newly replaced and while the room was small, it met our needs. The bed was comfortable, the new wall heater worked a treat, the bar fridge was clean and quiet, the bathroom was clean and shower looked to be newly tiled. Plus the location is great, back from the highway and a short walk to the centre of Cooma. If you're after basic accomodation for an affordable price - this place is fine

If I could leave 0 stars I would.

CANCELLED MY TRIP SO THEY COULD GET MORE MONEY.

One of my trips in September for 3 nights I had booked for $323 that got cancelled. 2 hours later was available to book, however, the price was now $988.

Had several trips booked for the 2024 snow season between July - September. Booked all of these in October 2023 and got a great rate. Had budgeted all of the prices into the season for my family and I. Today Friday 1st March every booking was cancelled and I was told that there would be renovations occurring from June until September. This maybe true. However, given that it is the 4 months of the year that they would get the majority of their business, I find it had to believe.

You have been warned!!!!!!!!!
