When I planned a trip to Bicheno. I have decided to visit this highly rated cafe with 4.8 stars. Maybe I did expect too much. I'm so disappointed! About the quality of coffee. I bought cappuccino and flat white altogether. These two cups of coffee really taste like coffee water. This is really not even up to par. Because I was taking it out. We were in a really bad mood when I was sipping coffee in the car! It's a nice scenic spot. But I really hope the quality of the coffee can be enhanced. That day I saw service staff guiding new employees. I'm not sure if this is the reason why the coffee is not as good as it should be. I hope they improve the quality of their coffee. Make this particularly stylish cafe more enjoyable

My carrot cake and vanilla long black were scrumptious! The lady running the place was amazing and very friendly.

We were sceptical about getting a decent coffee in Scamander, but we hit the jackpot with this gem. Ran by two young men in what looks like a converted shipping container they brew up Paradox beans to perfection. Flavours are spot on & the coffee presented perfectly every time. Loved the laid-back ambience inside & outside on the lawn where you can kick back & relax & watch the waves. 2024 update..return visit, different management coffee still good, presentation needs work

It's really hard for me to give it five stars when I've seen my espresso was a leftover shot from previous extractions 😂 The place is really lit and looks very nice to chill and sit in. The ambience is really nice and if you come at a time when it's not crowded, you can potentially sit in, enjoy the good view and read a book even. They do offer some food options too. Staff is friendly. Would be so much better if the coffee was good.

I can highly recommend Swims East Coast Coffee as a must stop spot for coffee, cake or toasty! The coffee is delicious and the toasties are delicious! All the staff are super friendly and always have a smile! The venue/seating area is super cool and unique. This is absolutely nothing I can complain about! It has to be a 5 out of 5 stars from me! Definitely will be returning here again!

The place was adorable and transformed from an old shipping container, sits on the slope overlooking the ocean. Beautiful scenery if you dine in and look out from the bar, but we had to get a takeout so that was a pity. The staff is friendly and accommodates special orders, we appreciate that a lot!

Coffee is excellent, nice and strong and very attentive friendly staff. $17 for a bacon and cheese toasted sandwich on our second visit during a short stay kind of destroyed the vibe and thoughts we had on this cafe. No prices displayed, noticed most people purchasing food at the take away shop over the road and then getting their coffees at Swims.

You MUST stop here, seriously this is the best coffee ever and the muffins were just as good (the super large crunchy muffin top blew my mind). The staff are friendly, the seats are comfy, and when it is sunny try grab a beanbag out front and relax with your fresh brew! Some of the nicest decaf coffee we’ve ever had too. Highly recommend, do yourself a favour on your travels or stay in the town and stop in, you won’t be disappointed!
