Great menu - we were spoiled for choice! Veggie breaky rolls were fantastic. See menu pics. Big tea, coffee, 2 huge rolls - $44. Great. Had to wait 15 mins - Sunday morning brunch rush - but great location, just soak up the view!

Food was amazing. I had a potato scallop, whiting tacos and an iced chocolate. Food was fresh and delicious. A little pricey but amazing views were worth it.

$9.50 for my morning coffee!

I have been frequenting this cafe for my morning coffee for around a decade. This morning my coffee went up from $8 to $9.50. Yes it’s a great view but this is just a rip off. I only went through with the order as I had a free coffee to use. I won’t pay $9.50 & others certainly shouldn’t either. Go around the corner to Newcastle Beach.

Got a coffee here after a sunrise walk. Nice staff members and very busy due to the location. Coffee was nice but I wouldn’t go back here just for a coffee, only if walking past.

Came here to enjoy some hot chips and on the beach. Unfortunately the chips were not hot, soft and tasteless, from frozen chips.
The chocolate milkshake was good, but could have been colder and was served in a plastic cup which was very disappointing

The lady here is really rude. I come here when I’m in the area visiting and it’s not the first time she’s been this way. What a strange way to behave when providing customer service and people are there wanting to buy from your cafe. I won’t go back purely due to the horrible way she makes people feel.

We enjoyed fabulous fish tacos & ice lattes so delicious! A bit of a wait but it was school holidays so that's to be expected.

I ordered a small matcha and small iced chai on Easter Friday ($20.25), I understand public holidays are busy but I wasn’t told a wait time and it ended up being 30 minutes.
The matcha was disgusting and extremely pale, I have ordered matcha from most places in Newcastle and this was the worst by a long, long shot. I politely asked for a refund as I found it undrinkable (especially for $10), the girls were hesitant and only offered to add extra matcha (which I saw in the bottle, and looked gross). I hesitated but accepted as I felt bad and they didn’t offer anything else, and of course it didn’t help at all. I ended up leaving the matcha on the bench and leaving, there was no offer for a refund then either.
Very disappointing experience for a gross drink. Interesting choice to be understaffed on a public holiday as well (1 girl taking orders and 1 making drinks). Everyone around me was also visibly annoyed at having to wait so long, presumably with no warning either.
