I visited this location on Easter Sunday, 20/4/25 and it was absolutely beautiful. The staff at Swell Kiosk did an excellent job, especially on such a busy day. They were magnificent, the wait time was short, and the food was reasonably priced. I’m a very happy customer. Happy Easter, everyone! Cheers, Elly.

Excellent tender crumbed calamari with homemade sauce. Place does a booming business so wait times can be a little long. Plenty of seating overlooking the beach with ramp and stair access.

6 June 2025. 1230hrs. Sunday noonday lunch. Decent queue for a local spot that boasts their own sauces and batter. Longer wait time can be expected for non-factory food. Calamari rings were amazing. Fish was well battered but inherently dry. Likely frozen fillets. Chips were average, no salt/vinegar option was offered, I didn't bother to ask. Chowder lacked body, corn bread was dry and burnt. I'd be back for the standout calamari.

Usually has a good experience but quality has gone down hill. Spend nearly 35$ dollars on fish and chips. First fish and chips that I bought for my son was good. So went to ask for an extra chips and coke. Extra large chips had more salt than chips. Can’t understand why it was done…Returned the chips after taking one chips but there was not mention of reimbursement…

Great cappuccino and fishing & chips but it is getting too expensive for a kiosk ($18.50 for fish & chips and $7.00 each for cappuccino). Too pricey for my liking and the card surcharge makes it worse.

I was disappointed to see Swell defaults to single-use coffee cups, rather than ceramic cups as previously. The staff member just assumed I was a takeaway customer. Apparently, had I asked, they would have given me a ceramic cup. If you think this sounds like a petty whinge, think of all the single use cups going into landfill (and the ocean). Businesses have a responsibility to lead the way on sustainability.

Absolute worse. Waiting 40 minutes for them to get it all wrong. Have to wait another 20 minutes. They had absolute no idea. Burger wasn’t even lukewarm and brioche bun was just a plan bun. Rather starve then go back here
