It’s absolutely the place to stay! There is nothing you can’t do. |Horse riding was awesome, feeding the cows was such a great adventure. ||The hole farm is absolutely clean and well maintained. ||I would always come back and spend my hole holiday here. ||It was the best place where we stayed on our trip from Sydney to Cairns. ||They were all so nice and kind to us. ||Highly recommend to stay here. ||Thank you so much for this awesome time.

We had an amazing stay for our wedding anniversary! My husband and I decided to go for a horse trail ride, and it turned out to be one of our best anniversaries yet!

The room was cozy, and the breakfast was delicious. As a special treat, they left chocolates, petals, and towel swans in our room, which we really appreciated! The horse trail ride was both relaxing and fun, and it was fascinating to meet and learn about the horses. This family-owned business made us feel so welcome; everyone was lovely!

The facilities were great, including a game room, tennis court, and pool. We didn’t camp, but the camping facilities looked inviting. The rustic ranch vibe was charming and authentic creating a warm and nice atmosphere.

I highly recommend this place for a unique getaway! 5/5 stars!

We dropped by on advice of our family friend. Our daughter went on a trail ride while my wife and I enjoyed the Guy McLean horse show.

All three of us left chatting about how great the experience was and how much we all wanted to return to do it all again. The horses were well cared for and all levels of rider experience were catered for. Abby was a super star and made sure that our daughter had a great time. As she is an reasonably experienced rider, she was allowed plenty of opportunities to trot and canter.

The Guy McLean horse show was amazing and was an unexpected treat. We strongly recommend that anyone with the opportunity to see Guy share his craft, spend the time, and money to see him work with such amazingly trained, talented, and trusting horses.

Cute holiday park with rooms, powered sites, and unpowered sites.
The pool was great, but it could be improved with a shade cloth over part of it, just to be a bit more sun safe.
Showers and bathrooms were clean.
The only problem was the walk from the sites to the bathrooms was pretty far, especially if it was raining, and for young children.
We didn't do a tour or horse riding, but enjoyed the pool and small playground - would love to see it expanded for future.
Even if nothing changed, we would love to stay again, as this was incredibly tranquil and beautiful.

Spent the weekend camping with our 3 kids. There was so much to keep them busy. Pool, trampoline/jumping pillow, tennis courts, games room, and exploring the beautiful sprawling property filled with horses and cattle. Not to mention the incredible trail ride with Abby and her team of guides. Abby was so giving with her time. We are all forever grateful for her golden nuggets of horsemanship. And those horses! Wow! So incredibly sensitive, well trained and loved. They were amazing to ride. A testament to Abby and the Susan River Team. Thank you for an amazing, unforgettable experience. We now all have the horse bug!! We cannot recommend highly enough. We WILL be going back regularly. Thank you xx

This homestead is amazing, everyone was so friendly and helpful. Great place for families.
The rooms are spacious, the common areas are clean.
We had an amazing time there and would love to go back

A great friend of mine and myself went and did the 2 hour horse ride with refreshments back in September.
As experienced riders we had such a great time. We were on a ride with just Abbie and one of her employees and it was one of the closest rides I've done that's like being on your own horse for the freedom they allow. Beautiful property and horses and an awesome human team too.

Stayed 2 nights in the camp ground, lovely clean facilities.
The horse riding was brilliant, was so nice to see very well looked after horses. They catered to all riding abilities on the same ride so was able to pick up the pace while others didn't, really friendly guides and gorgeous horses, thank you guys!
