Stayed for 5 nights in August. Room was a very good size, I liked the bed, it had a topper for extra comfort. Good sized bathroom, everything worked, lovely hot water - complimentary toiletries are supplied. Sleep quality was excellent, very quiet. Gates are locked at night making for a good sense of security. Had dinner twice, both times very good. The host of the motel was very good and helpful. If I am ever back in Bourke I would stay here again.

It's NOT as seen in photos. Bed hard. Dogs barking in other units kept us awake. The grounds are very unkempt. Pool unusable and the outdoor cooking area filthy. We had to clean everything before we could use it. Not even a garbage can or water available. Lock up facilities are the only positive.

Cabin was bright and well maintained. Toilets and amenities were clean and tidy.||Little bit out of the main town. No interaction with staff, however checking in was hassle free.||Listed as a resort however not really. Pool and surrounding area unkept.||Should actually be advertised as a Cabin Park.

Far far from being a resort. Reception outside filthy, inside reception not much better. Room lacking attention of maintenance and cleaning. Curtains over door, for purpose of privacy were hanging by a hook at either end with between hanging low, the curtain hooks sitting on floor, obviously not their job to fix! Walls, shower, floors all need a proper clean. Front porch area loose and uneven tiles, another job obviously not theirs to fix! Beds are hard, very hard. Overall very disappointing stay and certainly won't stay here again.

Skip the entire Town all together if you can the price is absolutely too much!
All other negative reviews are accurate! Except we didn't get robbed.. its hard to sleep when you've read the reviews and when the motel info reads to always keep all doors locked at all times , a plus is the gate does now close at night.. a $5 cobweb broom could be well used, over all bit dirty, linen stained, hot water stopped, kids even said the bed was hard, cabins have been attempted to be modern and almost are but quality of workmanship is lacking
I would just plan not to stop next time

Never given a 3 in my life to any Establishment. After reading the reviews while being wide awake in the Sunshine Resort bed leaves me no choice as I just want to sleep ? |2021 One review writes, "bed like sleeping on concrete" Well, three years down the track I'm now sleeping on the same concrete bed|We should of pulled up and slept in our car next to our room. Have no other complaints about the self-contained nicely presented unit, such a shame to know we have to drive tomorrow tired ? and PS there is no free breakfast, they obviously, don't have access to update their outdated websites.

The rooms are nice and good shower. Beds are hard but had a good doona, so it was nice and warm. There was no breakfast included as advertised, and no restaurant. It's advertised as a resort, the place offers no more than a standard motel room. Bed and Shower... that's it.

Sunshine Gardens Bourke Allegedly Resort, NO OXFORD HOTEL as NO RESTAURANT, NO BAR, NO POOL USE and NO WATER to multiple units, tiled veranda floor was unstable with trip hazard, at unit 12 could not wash hands in bathroom sink as no water, no notice prior at check in while collecting key, on webpage or on Wotif saying renovating. Heard water would be off for 10 minutes when I got to office to ask about it as another customer was asking about NO WATER as well at same time. Still not on after 10 minutes as said.||||I asked for a refund verbally and in an email to [email protected] Friday afternoon 21 Jun 24 for $192.85 that was repeatedly denied after our 25 minutes on site seeing the false facilities advertised online, on booking site and not said at office. https://www.sunshinegardensbourkeresort.com.au/restaurant/||||You would think someone would have apologized for the inconvenience of NO WATER of the Two adult males, one adult female, two grandparents and two children all sitting in front office talking in another language having their food while I asked for a refund.||||Stayed at another hotel in Bourke that night that had facilities as advertised and needed for basic hygiene.
