We booked one of the penthouse apartments through Airbnb and only stayed two nights, and although it rained we still had a wonderful stay in luxury! The view is amazing and the unit was well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our kids had a wonderful time in the upstairs play area too. The only issue with rain when staying in a penthouse is that we couldn’t use the outside area as it was uncovered and all wet - first world problems! ||The units are well located close to the park (including kids playground) and with easy access to Wallis Creek/Coolongolook River for fishing and walking. You can also walk to the local supermarket and to other shops within Tuncurry. We cycled into Forster but it is also a quick drive into Forster.||The pool isn’t heated, which seems to be typical of all accommodation in the Forster/Tuncurry area (which I don’t understand, since even pools on the Gold Coast are heated). But it was nicely maintained and our kids still had a quick swim.||The reception staff were lovely and helpful, and attentive to our needs and questions.

We booked through booking.com and by previous reviews. The apartment itself is very nice with spacious rooms and well equipped but we were on 1st floor with a basic view of water and the road noise was terrible. You couldnt sit on balcony because of noise and smell from cars.||The garage offers very small parking areas and we had to back out...theres no room in garage with an SUV.||||The manager was lovely and I am unsure if rooms higher are nicer and quieter but the 1st floor was a nightmare. You couldnt sleep nor hear tv.||||Nice apartments but location on a busy road is not conducive to a relaxing stay. Its a shame because its got nice waterviews.

Recently spent the weekend here with some friends and stayed at the penthouse. What a beautiful and amazing apartment. When we first walked through the front door, the thing that got us was the amazing water views. The apartment had 3 bedrooms downstairs - main bedroom was massive, with high ceilings, king bed and a huge ensuite with spa bath. Other bedroom had 2 single beds and third had a double bed with it's own little balcony. The loft on the second floor had a double/queen bed with it's own lounge area and plenty of space. ||The decoration of the apartment was cosy and beautiful, with every little piece thought of.||Kitchen was fully equipped and had everything we needed right down to the cheese knives.||Hubby and I got to stay in the main bedroom. Bed was super comfy with firm pillows which I love. It had a ceiling fan as well as a split system air cond. The bathroom is large with a spa bath and a huge shower with the best water pressure which is so important to me.||Location is amazing, water views across the road and so near the bridge to Forster. There's a Woolies supermarket a very short walk away and so very convenient to restaurants.||Sunrise was so easy to book and Sherree @ Reception was so very lovely and friendly and gave us recommendations on great places to eat.||I loved our short little weekend staycation and I will definitely be back again.

Our second stay and it was amazing. The apartment was super clean and the service upon check in was lovely. We had a free upgrade to an apartment with the best views in Tuncurry. We booked over the phone and again service was lovely! Highly recommend! We will be back! Thank you so so much.

Our stay was AMAZING!! we booked for 4 nights with 4 adults and 1 child. Stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment and couldn't leave so we booked 1 more night!
Very Very clean apartment with extra comfortable beds.. Heaps of storage space with a build in wardrobe for every guest.
Large bathroom and en-suite had large bathtub.

We are very glad we chose Sunrise Apartments and look forward to booking our next stay!

We were extremely impressed and very comfortable in every aspect with our stay at Sunrise Apartments. The kitchen is more than well equipped with an abundance of everything you need. Thank you Reece for your warm welcome and continued assistance. So sorry we did not get to meet you Sherree and Andy but we would like to thank you for a wonderful apartment. You should be very happy with all your staff, they are wonderful. So sad to be leaving you after 1 wonderful week and thanks for turning on the great weather in the middle of winter. Great location. Clean and tidy but needs a facelift as it's showing its age.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment this time at Sunrise. On a lower floor and the road noise was noticeable for the first time. We were on level 1. Usually we are a lot higher in the building. Same cleanliness as always and well appointed apartment. Garage is secure and good as usual. We enjoyed our stay.
