Disappointed with the state of unit 16. We stayed over Christmas so were paying top dollar. The unit was filthy, dirty dishes left in dishwasher. Dirty, stained carpet throughout. Furniture old and dirty. Thick dust on flyscreens. Front flyscreen had holes so could not leave the front door open for fresh air. Mould throughout.
View from balcony is amazing so it is sad that they are letting this unit in the state it is in.

We checked into unit 25... It's clean (no odours) and well maintained. Furniture looks fairly new, and the bedding was clean and fresh. All appliances work perfectly, including washer and dryer, so I'm not taking washing home.
Perfect for our family of 6...
The location is perfect. We have walked everywhere.

We have been staying here for a number of years now but unfortunately the units have not been maintained very well and the cost just seems to be increasing. Our unit was a supreme but not sure why? The bed was only a double so very small, the TV remote had intermittent issues maybe all the sticky tape around it didn't help, the shower door handle was missing so difficult to open and there was many small items that need attention or the owner needs to spend sometime there to tidy the place up. I had to call 4 times to get someone to take my booking leaving messages and no one bothered to call me back, nearly gave up trying. You have to collect and drop off keys at Paradiso where there is no parking as there are no on-site managers now. Great location but maybe Salt just down the road might be better value for money.

Great location and clean and beds comfortable. Each unit though seems to have different quality furniture. We had 3 families staying in 3 units. #8 was the better of the 3. #14 & 16 had older furniture and not as nice. Kitchens well equipped. But one unit had an iron, others didn’t. One unit had 2 hairdryers, others had none so they’re not consistent. Had proper garage for parking which was good. Optus & Telstra reception very patchy and no internet on our phones which made communicating with other family members difficult. Only worked ok on the balcony. Wifi is terrible. If it came up to connect to it was patchy and would drop out. Also no air conditioning which was fine as most bedrooms have ceiling fan but our first day was very hot and muggy. Luckily we cooled down in the pool and it cooled down at night but would be very hot in the summer.

Our unit was very disappointing for the high price paid. Expected 4 star luxury and barley made 3. 'NO' Air Conditioning. |Stayed here 4 years ago and was optimistic that things would have improved, I was wrong.|Frypans in a very poor state, looks like they have not been updated since our last visit. Oven does not work, but the grill does. The shower screen leaked to much, nearly the whole bathroom floor gets wet and the extractor fan does not work. This unit could be a 5 star with a little TLC and spending a tiny bit of its income on some more comfortable facilities and furniture.|However the bed was comfortable, the views and location is excellent. Dining suite perfect for a large family meal, a game or similar if you are travelling in a group.|Great for the middle aged as there is not much there for Party People or young children apart from the beach. |For us, the location was perfect, quiet, handy to shops and restaurants if you don't feel like cooking. |I would think twice about staying here during the summer months without an A/C to cool the place down a bit or a decent arm chair to relax in.

What a wonderful place to relax and enjoy. The apartments are very well fitted out and presented. Each comes with a garage (2.1 m max. height) and just the most lovely views from all the apartments.|Check-in is a bit of a hassle as there are a few passwords and stuffing around but the small inconvenience is well worth it.|A great place to chill and enjoy some good food at a couple of the local restaurants. |The coffee scene is well-catered for with a number of charming sidewalk venues.|For bicycle riders there are a number of very well-service bike paths (north and south) with rides along the beachfront and right up to and along the Tweed River.|A great spot for young children with lots of space and a nice pool for residents.|A lot calmer and prettier than Byron and super for a lovely walk along the beach or estuary.

We have just checked into number 14 at Sunrise Cove Holiday apartments. It was horrific to find that even though the beds had been made, someone had decided to lay on top of all 3 and left their impression. The toilet in the ensuite had not been cleaned with something left on the toilet seat and the bathroom bin hadn't been emptied. Lucky I took photos. We're considering checking out tomorrow even though we have paid for 2 nights.

No aircon or heater for different seasons.
Tv is not working in bedroom. Gum on shutters to hold shut.
Cockaroaches running around in kitchen cupboards and bench tops.
