My husband and I were traveling through Cowra and visited sumo shakes, we ordered the most delicious donuts and a lime sumo shake! Everything was delicious and so well made and the shake was the star of the show with cream and a loaded donut on top!! It was a highlight to the end of a trip and hope we get a chance to visit again...
The staff were so friendly and welcoming to there shop!

While in Cowra for work, a colleague and I stopped by Sumo Shakes a few times — and each visit impressed. The service was warm and welcoming, and there was a clear sense of care behind everything. The donuts were standout: fresh, well-made, and genuinely delicious. Coffee was just as enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town.

Get in your car, drive to Cowra and go straight to Sumo Shakes.

Stopped here on our way through to Tumut. Very friendly service and delicious freshly made hot cinnamon donuts! Super fat and fluffy with just the right amount of sugar 🤤 So glad to have found a local business to support when most others are closed on Sundays.

My wife and I were up from Melbourne, visiting fam in Cowra, and I wondered what the chances were of a country town having a shop that did something sweet that's gluten, dairy, and soy free... Imagine my surprise when I found Sumo Shakes on Google Maps, with gluten free doughnuts on their menu! 😱 Asked the owner over the phone if they could confirm if the doughnuts were also dairy and soy free, to which they did. Sometimes a request like this might be met with some reluctance as it may seem bothersome for some to double-check the ingredients of their products. But that wasn't the case here! Owner was really nice about it 🙏🏻 They did mention that their cinnamon sugared gluten free doughnuts have to be pre-ordered though, but immediately offered to whip up a batch for us, ready for pick-up in a couple of hours! 🥹 Taste and texture? IMO, 9/10 🤤 I only score them 1 point short of a straight 10/10 because IMO they were just a tiny bit oily when bitten into. But honestly? We THOROUGHLY enjoyed them. Smaller than an regular cinnamon sugared doughnut, but perfect biting size and full of flavour, with a delicious hint of vanilla. Good value IMO too 👍🏻 We'll definitely be ordering every time we come up to Cowra. Thanks so much Sumo Shakes for providing for the folk who aren't able to eat gluten and dairy! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
