This is another hidden gem of Cairns, one of the best Italian style restaurants I have visited in Queensland. very high quality, extremely tasty pasta dish. A good selection of drinks.

I had the pleasure of dining at my favourite restaurant, located in Edmonton, Cairns, and it was an extraordinary experience! From the moment I walked in, the aroma of freshly made pizzas and pastas filled my nose and made my mouth water. I cannot get enough of their garlic prawn and jambalaya dishes - absolutely phenomenal! But let me tell you, the lasagne was the real showstopper for me. The richness and fullness of the flavour made me feel like I was back in Italy.

I recently tried their Brazilian style pizza, and it was out of this world.

The staff are always friendly, happy, and attentive, making me feel welcomed and valued as a customer.

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! Their consistency in delivering authentic and delectable meals is remarkable, and their table service only adds to the overall pleasant experience.

This place is more than just a restaurant to me - it's a home away from home with the yummiest pizza.

The food here was so good I left it on my face for 2hrs lol. the staff here were very kind.
The only thing that is keeping my review at a 4 is the atmosphere because there was water coming from the aircon above our table and there wasn’t enough paintings.
A way to improve is to add more paintings turn off the ceiling lights but keep on the fairy lights and add candles on every table to make a vibe.

Absolutely love sugarcane kitchen. Great menu and good quality food for the south side of Cairns. Huge wine list with specials list constantly changing. We often eat at sugarcane and order a lot of the same meals because they are delicious. Entrees we always order the beef carpaccio polenta chips and the marinara pasta with the Napoli sauce. Good selection of desserts also. Delicious sticky date pudding.

Delicious food and generous portions. The staff were wonderful! We had the arancini, squid, Italian sausage linguini, seafood linguini and beef ragu. We would highly recommend Sugarcane Kitchen and look forward to returning!
