We just spent 3 wonderful nights here at Strawhouse bnb and we will be making it a yearly tradition. This place was absolutely spectacular. Anna and Tony are beautiful hosts and made us feel so welcome. The room was comfortable and warm right in the middle of winter. The daily breakfasts were divine the scrambled eggs were the best I’ve ever had, the corn fritters were are hit but my gosh the home made banana bread was to die for. The farm is stunning! The animals are friendly and you have freedom to roam the whole property. My 2 yr old son loved every minute of this stay. Anna thought of everything to entertain our son and even got him to collect the eggs one morning which he was so excited for and Tony got him involved with feeding the alpacas and cows which he really loved. 10/10
Would recommend this place and I am already planning our next stay.

We wanted a relaxed farm stay, Anna and Tony were really great! Very friendly from the moment I started organising our 4 days away. Made you feel welcomed, went through the rules and took the time to answer the kids questions. If we needed extra help, they gave it. Feeding the animals was a good experience, watching them play, nice little area to have a BBQ and fire plus a little spot near the pond to eat and relax as well. Not too far from Stanthorpe and plenty of activities to do around the area.
Thank you, again for having me and my 4 kids, we really enjoyed our time away.

Stayed with some family and shared the straw houses on our roadtrip up to Northern Territory. The walls inbetween are not super thin, but the doors aren't super soundproof so you can hear a bit of noise throughout (no biggie).||Overall found it pretty basic for what you pay. The straw houses were fairly average, they are dated properties but that adds some charm to it. It's not super spacious inside, imagine studio and a single small sink in the bathroom. It is dressed up with 'luxury' amenities like sheridan items and nescafe pod machine with some toiletries but overall nothing fancy to gloat about when the remaining furniture is fairly basic. The lounge for example felt pretty dated. Very limited wardrobe and storage space in the cramped straw houses for more than a couple.||For $300+ a night there are better options unless you wish to explore the petting zoo as it is otherwise a working farm, and the ability to take your pets? I saw some guests in the newer cabins up the back withe their pets. Probably great if you love putting up feeds on your social media posts to help drum up publicity for this place.||The hosts are fairly relaxed and try to be accomodating but by no mean overly welcoming unfortunately. I found the meals to be ok at least you can use their bbq. Had better experiences at other B&Bs and farms in Australia with more comfort and friendlier hosts at affordable prices.

Went for a long weekend with 4 adults and 1 toddler and had THE BEST time! Anna and Tony run a seriously good farm-stay! Full home cooked brekkie every day (and I’m talking better quality than any cafe); neat + clean + adorable cottages; and toddler-friendly animals! Collecting the eggs everyday and feeding carrots to the donkeys were huge hits- and of course the baby goats!! Anna is just the most beautiful host- nothing was too much trouble! Will recommend to everybody I know with children!!

Absolutely beautiful! Tony and Anna run a seriously good farm-stay! Our group of 4 adults + 1 toddler had the best time! Amazing breakfast each day, baby goats and cuddly donkeys and all within an easy drive from the Ballandean wineries!! Highly recommend!

We had a beautiful time at Straw House B&B. Anna and Tony were so welcoming and helpful from the booking through to our stay and departure.
Our daughters loved playing with and feeding the many farm animals each day and toasting marshmallows by the fire at night.
Our breakfasts were wonderful and plenty of it! The accomodation was very comfortable and well throughout with lots of nice touches.
The location is also great, a close drive to many of the areas attractions.

We had the most amazing experience and stay at the tiny house in Stanthorpe! From the moment we arrived we were greeted and shown around, where we got to meet all of the adorable farm animals which was definitely a highlight of our trip!
Anna was super lovely and accommodating, the breakfast was to die for, and the banana bread was the best I’ve ever had.
The tiny house was the perfect size for us, decorated beautifully with no details missed! The fire pit was the perfect, cosy way to end the day, after visiting a few local wineries that were conveniently close by to our accommodation.
We were so happy to find such a perfect, inclusive stay at such great value. Can’t wait to come back and bring friends and family to experience this hidden gem too.

Honestly we couldn’t have asked for anything more from our stay. Everything was perfect. The room was beautiful, and exceptionally clean. The grounds are amazing, and the animals are just incredible. Every detail was fantastic and the hosts, Anna and Tony went above and beyond. The breakfast was also fabulous, honestly the options both of food and condiments etc. was just perfect. We cannot wait to go back and stay again!
