We had an amazing stay at Straddie Views B&B, Diane and Denis were great hosts and offered any help we need to get around the island along with some great recommendations for our stay. The room was lovely as was the two course breakfast served to us in the morning with a great view overlooking the water. Thanks again for making our weekend on Straddie unforgettable!

A lovely, clean, comfortable room with everything you require of a B & B. Lisa and Mike the new owners are welcoming and extremely helpful and very friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. We really enjoyed our stay and felt very relaxed. Breakfast on the veranda with gorgeous views out over the ocean was a highlight. Mike will whip up a delicious brekkie just the way you want it and I ate far more than I usually do. It's well positioned to Pt. Lookout so great for a short stay or for a longer period. We will definitely be staying there next time we head to Straddie. All in all highly recommended and very good value for money. Thanks Lisa and Mike ( and your beautiful young family)

We stayed two nights at Straddie Views and we really enjoyed the great hospitality of Mike. Room was very comfortable and very clean. Room was equipped with essential items such as electric kettle, hair dryer and small items such as cups, glasses etc. Mike prepared the breakfast and it was delicious and plenty. Having breakfast on the veranda with sea view was great. This is a great place to have a relaxing stay in Stradbroke islands.

This B&B has recently changed hands. The new owners, Mike and Lisa and their young family are just delightful and have stepped right into the role of hosts. |They live upstairs and the 2 ensuited guest rooms are downstairs, separated from each other by the carport, so very private. They are large, modern, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The chocolates in the wine glasses was a lovely touch.|The house is on a hill (great exercise for that morning walk) so it gets a lovely breeze and a great ocean view. As a bonus, it's across the road from the best restaurant on the island, The Whales Way.|It's about a 10 min walk to Cylinder Beach and close to the beach access for 4 wheel driving on Main Beach|Breakfast, served on the upstairs deck, was awesome. Mike does a mean job in the kitchen. "The Works" consists of cereal, fruit, juice, bacon, eggs, hash browns, tomatoes, toast and condiments, tea and coffee. (We had to cut back after Day 1)|Mike offers 4 wheel drive tours down the beach and kayak hire for guests.|All in all a great stay and I would highly recommend.

My friend Annette and I have just come back from four memorable days at Jan's B&B. What a warm, welcoming and considerate host. It felt like we had known her for ages.||Oh to luxuriate in our own private suite each and meet for breakfast to share orange juice, a fruit platter, beautifully cooked eggs, bacon, mushrooms and tomatoes followed by tea and plunger coffee, warm toast and delicious jam. We sat watching the whales play while we ate. Breakfast each day went on forever. ||The rooms were well appointed, very comfortable and spacious with added touches like port and chocolates and a small fridge. Such a pleasure to stay there. We'll be back! Thanks for everything Jan.

The hospitality of Mike and Lisa was second to none. They made us feel very welcome and part of their great little family. We wanted to go fishing so they took us for a fish and drive along main beach and we even caught some fish ! Be careful challenging Mike at pool though ...... he has a table downstairs for guest to use but if you challenge him .... be careful he's quite the player. Beautiful family .Will definitely be back

Friendly laid back hosts, very good breakfast, large comfortable room, nice and quiet. Good restaurants and pub within easy walking distance. Lifeguard patrolled beach within easy walking distance. Beautiful walking and cycling opportunities or just chill out.
