Great pub with an open court yard for lunch. This is redemption given our first experience here was not great, we were turned away for being a large group with no booking and they were short staffed. The booking process was difficult, when we called to make the booking, the person didn't want to take the booking and advise to come in, when we came to the venue we were told they couldn't seat us as they had no large tables. We tried comprising and said we'll sit outside in the courtyard, but it was still a no and the alternative provided was to go to another nearby pub

This time, ee were able to order from both the Bistro and sports bar menu as an option for sitting outside as they couldn't accommodate us inside

The venue is clean and very inviting. Outside, the staff were generous and tentative to providing water to the doggos, joining people for lunch

Inside, it's nice, spacious, and air-conditioned. It is easily accessible from the side street and an extensive delicious menu

We had a lovely lunch, minus the screeching uncontrolled children that echoed through the walls into the courtyard, but that is not the venue or the staff's fault. The meals were delicious and of very filling and decent servings.

The staff were lovely both over the counter, wait staff and staff over the phone

Staff were very friendly, polite, helpful and not overly attentive. As we were a large party all our meals came at the same time which was great. It meant we all ate together. The meals were delicious and very well portioned. They had g/f and vegetarian options. The tables were generous with comfy seating. They gave us take away containers for the portions of food we couldn't finish. The background music was not too loud and didn't interfere with conversations. Facilities were clean. The outside area looked great! We will definitely be going back.

Good sized restaurant. Pleasant atmosphere. Friendly staff. Very good service. Meals were reasonably priced with a good variety of options on the menu. Kids playing facility near meals area. Good place to go for all.

My advice would be to book for a meal, it has a lovely bistro area and staff are very attentive. The place gets quite noisy when it's full, but the meals are very tasty with a good variety.

We ordered Stoney's special burgers and Scotch fillet; burgers were quite nice and well cooked,they did comply with the request for crispy bacon. We thought for the price cheese and egg would have been the norm.
The steak was cooked to perfection and came with a generous side of salad and chips.
We did have a booking and up on arrival requested a table away from the door, which was refused, even though they had 5 other tables of four available which were supposedly also booked and unattended for another 35 minutes. One table never got anyone on it until we left 90 minutes later.
Given that we also had a booking and were there before others, could not figure out why we could not have one of those tables?!

I had a bad experience last night, ordered a porterhouse steak ask for well done and it was medium rare .payed 42 dollars for a rare steak when I asked for it to be well done. , very disappointed and one of the lady staff was rude the way she spoke to me ,she had black hair. Not a happy experience. Because I ate most of the outside of it that was pink but red and bloody in the middle they said sorry we can't do nothing about it. The least they could've done was refund half the money back . They didn't care ,not happy

Good service. Great porterhouse thick cut steak. We sat in the beer garden and tge atmosphere was nice but a few baskets scattered around with some cushions would make it even better because the original bench style seating is hard & uncomfortable. The newer tables & bench seats sit liwer to the ground and closer to the table. We should have sat there.
