Cannot express how great this hostel is, some of the best friends I’ve ever met and everyone here is up for a good time. It’s incredibly clean and I’ve never stayed anywhere where the staff are so amazing. Cannot say a bad word about it

I loved a lot about this hostel, all except for how noisy it is!! Definitely recommend ear plugs, the entrance doors and room doors slam loudly and reverberate through the hostel. Everything else was great, lovely vibe, great breakfast and perfect location. Staff were super helpful and friendly too ?

Stoke Beach House has been my favorite hostel to stay at. The rooms are cleaned daily, and the beds are so comfortable. Each bed has a curtain, light, fan, and charging socket. The hostel itself has so much to offer from a massive cinema room, to a bar, pool table, beautiful kitchen. Every morning there’s also a free breakfast in the kitchen that consists of meats, cheese, pastry’s, bread, cereals and so much more. If you’re into surfing there’s free surfboards to rent as well as snorkel equipment and bikes.

Now the vibe, if you love a laid back social atmosphere it’s definitely the places for you. There’s activities throughout the week that the staff run, and everyone is so friendly. It’s a very social hostel. Your also a quick walk to the multiple beaches.

All in all it’s an absolutely amazing hostel, I highly recommend.

Pros:
The location is perfect, just a 10-minute walk from the ferry terminal, and it's very close to Manly Beach. At night, you can even hear the sound of waves crashing on the shore while you sleep. I really love their breakfast too; it's healthy, plentiful, and there are plenty of options. The communal kitchen facilities are decent, but it would be even better if they had more oil and seasoning options.

Cons:
1. I wouldn't recommend it for light sleepers or those seeking relaxation. The hostel's common areas can be quite noisy, with loud music playing almost all day. During my stay, the noise persisted until well past 10 PM, making it feel like staying in a nightclub. However, if you're into socializing, this place would be perfect for you. 2. The bed spaces are cramped; even I, not particularly tall, kept bumping into the bunk above. Also, there's no air conditioning in the rooms, so it gets uncomfortably hot. 3. The shower areas aren't cleaned thoroughly, and there's a significant buildup of water in the shower stalls (water starts pooling as soon as you turn it on).

I had a great stay here. The staff were very helpful and lovely. The location is great, and the rooms and bathrooms were very clean and spacious. The beds and pillows were very comfy too, which is not easy to find in a hostel. The breakfast was really good quality with plenty of options, and the kitchen is very well equipped. Great environment, would be very easy to spend a lot of time here.

Really enjoyed my stay here, it’s rare to find a hostel with clean, comfortable bedding (kitted out with lights, power outlet and a personal fan), respectable of noise after 11pm while still having fun communal areas, and a free breakfast daily.

Staff are very welcoming and there seemed to be lots of opportunity for fun activity while staying.

My only very minute downside was how hot the rooms were, even with cool changes outdoors it stayed very stuffy in the top floor room and was a bit brutal after the first day.
