Be careful and do your research .Only lasted about 6 months the neighbour gave us unwarranted stress from the day we met.
Our property sold 4 times in five years wish we had known this before we moved in.

I do installations of art and mirrors to residents (over 50's). I really like this gated estate and it's facilities ie.pools, parks golf course etc. The houses are nicely finished and very spacious and I understand the fees etc are very reasonable. Very impressed.

My visit was to see this new way of living in progress. Halcyon Greens seemed to have a lot to offer so the need to travel would be reduced. Seems like a great concept but as I've just turned 56 years young just looking at the moment.

Now then, this is a gated complex. Emphasis on the word complex. Can anyone tell me the name of an 80s movie starring David Bowie as a Goblin King? Well done, yes, it's Labyrinth. This place is so confusing (more so in the dark) that even Google's GPS only takes you as far as the gate. Beyond that, Google GPS tends to shrug and say 'I know nah-ting.' It is the Bermuda Triangle of the Gold Coast. Every corner looks the same, every house looks the same, even the people dress the same. I believe 'God's waiting room' is an apt moniker for this cryptic place. I think the evil genius who designed this place, may have been the same person who designed the Venus Flytrap! Travellers be aware, take plenty of supplies and a Marine Radio! Don't disturb the locals whilst you're trying to find your way out, they give you the wrong directions because they too were young once when they first entered this place! Avoid Avoid Avoid!

Halcyon Greens is amazing, & seems to only get better. Visited a relative of ours there yesterday and the place was alive with kids on school holidays, riding bikes, playing pickle ball, we had a game of pool and checked out the new Lodge, cinema, breakout rooms and the place is looking amazing.
