This was the best massage experience I’ve ever had. My massage therapist, Ivan, was very attentive to detail and I felt his passion for his work, which motivated me to take better care of myself. I was very impressed with Stephanies’ whole ethos. I’d never been offered a tea and foot wash prior to a massage session. Nor had I ever been offered a selection of oils to choose from before the treatment. I loved the way I was asked to close my eyes and choose the oil based on the scent. I was on tour with a band for 3 weeks around Australia. If we ever get the privilege of touring Australia again and if we come back to Brisbane, I’ll be booking myself in! Thank you

We absolutely loved our recent experience at Stephanie's Spa Retreat. Stephanies is my absolute favourite, whether it be for a special occasion, indulging in a little self-care or part of a sneaky date night (or day)! Hubby was very excited to experience the Opul Rasul temple again, followed by an excellent massage. Thanks Stephanies, and a shout out to your excellent staff at the Sofitel Brisbane. We definitely recommend it! ?

Really great massage. I booked the 2 hour Mums and Bubs rest and restore service. It was amazing. The location is beautiful and relaxing. The only downside was when I went to pay it was not the exact amount for the service I booked. The receptionist advised that extras had been added. During the service I was asked if I wanted this or this type of mask, thinking it was to do with their skin consultant. I thought it was apart of the service as there was no discussion about add-ons or extras and the extra cost involved. After a great massage, service and treatment this made the experience a bit more disappointing.

Quite a few system and admin errors:
- specific details not noted eg pregnancy and gluten-free high tea
- booked for the wrong package
- details written in the introduction questionnaire not noted initially
- overcharging and deposit not taken 7 days before like they said they would

However the staff were very apologetic and accommodating. They refunded a bit of the money and were very upfront and honest about the shortfalls. Everyone was very friendly and considerate and that made all the administration issues tolerable.

The massage was okay and the facial was lovely. The high tea was fine but would've been lovely to have some tea selection.

We also had access to the pool and jacuzzi and overall it was a nice experience. Without the staff being honest, I would've given this a 3 stars but we appreciated how accommodating they were.

I was so excited to go here, we booked the couple's package to celebrate my partner's Australian citizenship as a special treat. We loved that you could use the pool and spa before your treatment and enjoy delicious tea in the lounge in fluffy robes. The reception staff were wonderful. Unfortunately when it came to our treatment time, the ladies were 10 minutes late, meaning our appointment was cut short as they were closing (we had 80 mins instead of 90). I gave this feedback on the feedback form and we were given a drink each, which was thoughtful. I was also left with a really sore lower back immediately after and struggled to get in and out of my car on the way home, which I think is because my head was leaning so far forward in the massage bed. There were a couple of other small things that could have improved our night as well- validating the parking for longer after we were done so we could go get dinner somewhere afterwards or offering a more extensive dinner menu at the spa. All in all, regrettably I would not pay $450 for this experience again.

Absolute bliss! We booked the spa for a massage initially and then decided to add on the Opal Rasul treatment. This is a must do! The steam is so thick you can barely see across the room. Starting with slathering yourself in nourishing face and body masks. Then sit back and relax while your skin gets a thorough cleansing. Finish off with a beautiful rainfall shower before slipping back into the robe and then we headed in for massages. The therapists made sure they fully understood our needs before starting the treatment. Their massage beds are hydraulic and amazing! We were moved into the most comfortable position throughout the massage and finished by sitting us upright on the bed for ease of getting up and dressed. The massage itself was world class, with the therapists expertly locating and easing all of the tension in our bodies. Finished off with a herbal tea and the most beautiful mango sorbet ever (seriously), accompanied with delicious chocolates. We left completely relaxed and can't wait to return. Thank you Stephanies!

We went to Stephanie’s as part of a romantic Bastille day. It truely is a beautiful place with great staff and service. We booked the Opal steam room for 2 which we could not recommend enough - it was stunning different beautiful romantic and potentially therapeutic in some manner I’m sure - and worth trying if you have the chance.
Then we had a couples massage and relaxed in lounge room with champagne.

Leave plenty of time with your booking to enjoy the spa outside or the lounge before or after your booking.

The reception team were tops - there was big guy on for the day - that really was quite thoughtful and positive several times - as well Stacey - whom I thought was a real stand out for service and making you feel welcome when I was making the initial Enquiries and booking.

If you feel the package is a bit expensive - I have to add it is - but my partner thought it was the most romantic date of her life - which meant it ended up being great value and a beautiful day. ?

I booked Stephanie’s Spa Retreat group social spa for my daughter’s pre wedding celebrations. We were a group of seven, including the bride, bridesmaids, aunts of the bride and me.
All of us received a perfect pampering and after a hectic weekend it was just what we needed.
The treatments and the staff were fantastic, but the whole experience was really lovely, from the ambience of the setting to the enjoyable champagne after our treatments.
I thoroughly recommend the social spa as a luxurious way to complete a fun weekend activity or any time you just want to feel special.
