Stellarossa Parkside - Mackay, QLD

I went to Stellarossa for the first time today. I got a Mocha Frappe (White chocolate, Caramel, Hazelnut, 3 sugars and skim milk). I had a written note of exactly what I wanted.

I did ask it to be put in my own insulated bottle. I was changed $11.47 which was more than the $8 - $9 I was expecting it to be, I was not told there was going to be an increase in price. I there at 10:50am.

The coffee was also very strong, much stronger than I was expecting. Usually the three sugars and caramel is enough to balance out strong coffee. I did not ask for two shots of espresso.

The coffee is bitter and almost burned and not very pleasant to drink and leaves a really unpleasant aftertaste. It mostly taste of coffee and maybe a little hazelnut. I can't even taste the caramel or white chocolate.

I will not be going to Stellarossa again.

Absolutely amazing experience. I waited for a cooler day and got the perfect cooked breakfast experience at Stellarossa Parkside. Thank you to all the staff. 🙏🏻🥰✨️✨️✨️

Disappointed!
Service was slow, the coffee unfortunately was appalling. I guess if I asked for something “normal” like a cappuccino , it may have been better. I did however, ask for a long black, after waiting for milk to finally arrive, it was barely enough to put colour in the coffee let alone take away the extremely strong burnt coffee taste.
The fruit bread with butter and compote was also a disappointment. The serving was a generous size, but very lacking in compote(see pictures). I have dined here in the past with excellent service and food/coffee... were they having a bad day? I can’t answer that, but I do expect better for price I paid.

Good coffee. Very good. Pointless going there looking for food after about 2pm it would seem. Kitchen's closed. Miss out on patronage 🤷‍♂️.

We (as a group of 4 people) spending $130.00 on breakfast were extremely disappointed in the inability of the staff in getting the order correct.
Items were left off the plates, on two occasions it required a second visit to the staff to again correct the items missing from the plate.
Small serve on the savoury mince, meal was only warm. The staff at the counter had a different opinion on what constitutes the customers order.
Will never return, and do not recommend this dysfunctional food outlet.
No apology or compensation offered by inefficient staff….

Food was good. Thought $6 to add bacon to eggs benedict was a bit steep so had them plain. Service was fast and friendly.

Just bought two iced lattes, one was warm and the coffee just tasted burnt. I threw mine out and grabbed a canned coffee from coles lol.
