After staying at Camps in Moranbah, I can say this is the best so far.

Food is excellent, Green Bowl options, to order meals and a frequently replenished small service buffet means it is all quite fresh and recently off the grill so no soggy mush like you get at the larger camps. Options for lunch are a bit limited the night before and there are no 'toastie' style grab and go breakfasts on offer the night before although the buffet breakfast is excellent, Like being in a hotel.

Rooms are well appointed, neat and clean. fridges and air conditioners are well serviced and obviously not just the cheapest they could get. Rooms come with hotel style soap and shampoo as well as laundry powder which is super nice compared to most.

Wild live of all sorts bounce, slither and strut across the manicured gardens and lawns and the staff are friendly and greet you with a smile every time.

I would 100% stay here again.

Improvements:
A smoking section would be nice, walking past off shift workers punching durries and slamming tinnies outside one of their rooms on the walk way is no fun and means you're closing your window and putting in earplugs.
Parking is a bit average, the car parks are super narrow and usually a pretty solid walk from the room which could be annoying if you have heavy bags or rain.

Best camp rooms I've stayed in. Clean and comfy. Double beds!! Dinner is mostly amazing. However cribs aren't good. Also front desk staff often are ignorant and seem unhappy. The rest of the staff are lovely.

Excellent facilities: the rooms are carpeted with double beds, TVs (with some cable channels), and decent bathrooms; fantastic food with a huge range of healthy options available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner; and a great gym for weights training or aerobic exercises. The grounds have great gardens that are well maintained. This is only reinforced by the extent of local wildlife the visits the grounds!

My favourite village in the Bowen Basin. You feel you’re on a resort. Green grass, palm trees and wild cute animals everywhere. Rooms are very modern, clean and with double beds. The food at the mess is delicious. They offer fresh vegetarian option at the menu every night. My fav of my last swing: eggplant parmi 🀀 Billiard and ping pong at the rec room. Receptionist weren’t the friendliest people of the world.

Rooms are good. Food is okay. Breakfast is the worst. Dinner is average.. gym is very basic.. No wetmess.. crib selection is very limited so bring your own food for crib if you don't wanna eat salad everyday.
