Clean place. Food is great and lunch crib meals are good as well. The carrot cake is effing delicious. Best beef mince lasagna I’ve ever had. Steaks need work.

The food is terrible! If your lucky enough for the cook to even turn up! Eggs are done in the oven and are like rubber and the rest of the food is no better! Our work crew have been left with nothing to eat multiple times! The staff are rude! The beds are the cheapest and nastiest mattresses, they have to be 20 years old and will leave you with a sore back, the TV'S in the bedrooms don't work properly! There is nothing good to say about this place! Worst accommodation EVER!!

Lovely place to stay. Quiet and the apartment we stayed in was well looked after and cleaned. Staff were very friendly and accommodating at all times. The food they offered was good and the deal they had for three meals a day meant I didn’t have to worry about buying lunch items. Buffet style and take away. Good for work stays.

We stayed overnight on an interstate road trip.||There was no-one at reception when we arrived and had to phone the booking number and wait about 5 minutes.||An A4 sheet to complete when signing in, geared for FIFO workers we expect.||Our room was VERY small, a half size wash basin, no room to move once we had put our bags on the floor.||One bedside cupboard, one chair; too small for a couple really.||However, the bed was comfortable, the showers were hot and the room was clean and modern.||There was a free laundry and a restaurant on site.||Over 100 rooms. Unlandscaped and bare concrete. Very utilitarian.||No natural light in the rooms when the door was closed due to blackened glass doors and no window so it felt very claustrophobic. ||A cheap room if all you need is a comfortable bed

Stayed here not too long ago for 1 night stopover and was really happy with the place!! Single room had an ensuite, everything very tidy and clean, a nice big fridge and a comfy bed and very cheap for what you get! If you're paying for dinner, its yummy and buffet style, not to many main dishes for vegetarians but a lot of different salads. You can also take drinks, cakes and prepared lunches with you for the next day, which is great. There was also a lemonade and a water in the room for free - which I probably never came across anywhere. Thank you, it was a great spot to have a proper rest!

Breakfast great. Chef knows his stuff. Earned his money ++. Paid for a queen room and realised that we were accommodated in a smaller room when someone else complained. Too late to make a fuss. Would have rated higher but felt like we were being made fools of. $265.30 for two nights was ok. Was clean and tidy and close to town as advertised. Blackened windows very disconcerting.

Upon turning the key and opening the sliding door, we were greeted by a few baby cocroaches scurrying in and out of the cracks on the bathroom floor. We chose this place as a few reviews noted that it was clean. Well, clean it was not. The floor was sandy and dirty and when we accidentally bumped the bed, the wood veneer floor looked as if it has not been swept for a long time. The toilet cistern seemed clean but the bathroom floor was still littered with hair from previous occupants. Whoever was hired to clean our room previously, obviously did not do their job. The only saving grace was the fact that we were tired and the comfy bed was a godsend.

This is a funny place , not a normal hotel for people travelling through, its like staying at a mining camp in dongas, very busy with miners and contractors which means lots of young guys, noise and the " mess " restaurant with camp food and pre prepared lunch.||The rooms are cheap and you get what you pay for, lucky if everything works , its clean but the beds are old , linen is clean and the air con works. The food was good for this kind of situation. There should be much better choices in emerald given how busy the town is
