Only stayed one night but it was beautiful, the park is great, very large camp kitchen with plenty of room to sit and enjoy your evening with friends, the toilets are so clean. The pool was a favourite for us, great job on the landscapes. Plenty of ducks and a few Kangaroos. So peaceful

We had a pleasant stay at Standown , but there were a few things that could definitely be improved. The pool was a standout, offering a refreshing spot to relax, and the large, quiet area was perfect for a peaceful getaway. The communal space is great for socializing, although it seemed to cater more to older couples than families, which made it feel a bit less inclusive for those with children.||The amenities, however, were a bit dated. The older bathroom blocks were clean but could use some more attention, and there seemed to be a general lack of family-friendly facilities. It would be great to see a small play area or dedicated family section, especially given the park's spacious layout. Additionally, the lack of proper pet facilities, such as fenced runs or even dog poo bags, was a bit of a letdown considering the park is pet-friendly.||While the location has a lot of potential and there’s clearly a desire to keep things as they are, some small updates would make a big difference in the overall experience. Unfortunately, the management left something to be desired. Not only was I treated rudely, but I overheard a similar experience from another guest, and it seemed to be particularly directed at women, which was disappointing.||Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the tranquil environment, but there’s definitely room for improvement in a few areas to make it a more family-friendly and welcoming spot for everyone

Close to magical white sandy beaches.
They have an amazing ANZAC memorial there, too. The Mrs loved the showers and amenities. The pool is amazing. Grounds people very friendly and do a great job of keeping the camp site in near perfect condition.

Fantastic place, facilities were the best I have seen in a campground with lovely clean bathrooms and showers with great water pressure. The Pool was fantastic, super nice maintenance staff and dog friendly to top it off.

I booked a grassed non-powered site which adjoined a farm of some description. The smell of fertilizer was overbearing at times and the march flies were vicious. I had two small dogs with me and one was so traumatized by the flies that I left after one night (had booked for two). Don't think I could have put up with the fertilizer smell for another night either. The facilities were dated and there didn't appear to be many showers/toilets for the number of sites. (Fortunately I was self sufficient in that regard). The pool was a blessing but was very small and there were a lot of guests in there so I didn't linger.

Just spent two nights here. The amenities are great. Even though we didn't use the camp kitchen it is well set out with a great area for socialising at happy hour. The pool area was amazing and the sites are a great size and well thought out. Thanks Standown Park!

This park is excellent with secluded caravan bays with hedges either side, high pressure water, clean facilities and pleasant owners. I couldn’t ask for more. If you want a hedge bay, you need to ask for bays 20-30 and you need a long 15A lead & water hose to reach the power / water

Really comfortable. Good privacy. Amazing pool. Showers and toilets a little grubby. Overall, a great value stay, close enough to Rainbow Beach.
