Beautiful hotel with old world charm. Great location and close to Queen’s St Mall, Botanical Gardens and Kangaroo Point Bridge. Lovely rooms with a view of the Brisbane River. Beds were comfy and bathrooms included a large bath tub. Breakfast buffet was delicious with a wide variety of options. Wonderful service from concierge and front desk. Wonderful stay thank you!

First time here. The room boasted old-world charm and a fabulous view across the Brisbane River. A step away from the Botanical Gardens and only a short walk into the city centre. The staff were lovely and obliging. Big shout out to all the staff on reception. We'll be back, for sure! Thank you for a lovely experience.

We have stayed at the Stamford Plaza on more than one occasion and will continue to do so for all of our Brisbane visits. A beautiful hotel in a great location. The staff are wonderful and very professional which only adds to the appeal. Parking on site is very convenient as too is the buffet breakfast.

We enjoyed a superb stay here. A beautiful historic hotel with so much character throughout. We were welcomed on our arrival by exceptionally friendly and professional staff on reception and by the concierge. Parking was easy. Our room was so comfortable, the bed and pillows luxurious, and we had stunning views over the pool and river. Its within easy walking distance of the city centre for shopping. We loved it here and can highly recommend it if you want a beautiful authentic hotel.

Great location, large spacious rooms, very clean and tidy. Loved the river and storey bridge views, despite the outside of the windows being slightly dirty. The onsite parking was expensive at $49/night. Bit Breakfast was an optional $1 p.p. Great value

An outstanding hotel with beautiful rooms overlooking the Brisbane River. Very comfortable beds and full amenities. Staff are beyond amazing. Perfect location for all city attractions. Ferry just a short walk away, bus stop and taxis literally outside the door.

The front of house staff were lovely - friendly, efficient and very helpful. Sadly the hotel is badly in need of refurbishment. Our room was tired - it looked as if no money had been spent on in for a while (I have not seen such old fashioned telephones in a hotel room in years) and even the corridors to the bedrooms had seen better days. Housekeeping was perfunctory - the surfaces in the bathroom were not wiped down and water was not replaced. And to add insult to injury there was a $5 charge for delivery of a bucket of ice to the room. We had stayed here 6 years ago and it was very good which is why we came back, but this time it was a most disappointing visit.

Pros: The room was spacious and offered stunning easterly views of the Brisbane River, the Story Bridge, and the new Kangaroo Point pedestrian bridge. Breakfast was an excellent value, costing only an additional $1 per person.

Cons: The exterior of the window was very dirty, which diminished the otherwise fantastic views. Additionally, the parking fee was exorbitant at $49 per night.
