Stinks

Edit: feb 2025. Renovations have transformed this into a bright, modern pub. Happy there is another pub to visit in town. Good job. It no longer stinks.

Best place for your stuff to be stolen even if you tell the staff to take care of your belongings. I brought in my escooter inside the pub to play pokies and told the staff girl who was very interested in my scooter and wanted a ride few days before it was taken away according to them looking in the camera by two black guys. How is it possible. Well thanks to you I stopped gambling thousand if dollars since my scooter is stolen from your pub. Also thanks to your staff that you guys not getting my hundreds of dollars weekly spending in your pub as the scooter was my only ride to your pub. I think you lost more than I lost with your corrupt staff and police

Have been a few times to play pokies, staff were usually quite nice, but today must have caught the lady in a bad mood. She was very rude for no reason. When I queried what I did wrong she was more abrupt.
Won't be back, if I'm going to lose money I'll do it where I'm treated with more respect.
We're being asked to frequent our local businesses, maybe they should consider how they treat their customers.

If you can't find a place and wish to drink beer and bet on games, this could be your place. But if you are looking to go out with family, looking for a great atmosphere, great menu then this is not your place to be. Two stars for nothing special. Its alright.

The pub has no atmosphere and does nothing for the people that drink there
There is no food sorry pies not food next to sewer pipe
staff always eating behind the bar
toilets all stink are never clean properly backed up spew left for hours
staff insufficient trained and doesn't look after the patrons more worried about the pokies
pretty much the promotions and things are won by people that are known to The Publican and also a giving away at Christmas time as Hampers

Strange that, I just saw a review from 4 months ago from a certain person. So why does this person drink there every night? It may not be the best pub in Australia but fot me it's my local. When I go there I know what I will get, never had any problem with the staff, they all do there job, so maybe, just maybe the problem is YOU; thats right you; so hears an idea, go somewhere else, not that hard!!!
