We live 5 minutes from this restaurant. However had driven to west Lakes for a family activity. We tried to go to San Churros for a meal and sweet treat for the kids. Service and atmosphere with less than 3 other patrons in the store was so terrible we drove the 45 minutes back home to go to a place we knew we could rely on having the highest quality service, food and atmosphere.

Can not commend the owners and staff of this store enough for their efforts.

I had a Vienna hot chocolate, was very rich but enjoyable as pictured, the design was cute but practicality was a bit messy.

A churros fondue was well worth the value, the churros were honestly some of the best I've had in terms of crunch and texture. I've been to the mawson Lakes St Louis which I found mid, so I was very surprised with my experience here. Glad I went.

Service: The staff are friendly and helpful, with a welcoming atmosphere right from the start.

Menu: The breakfast menu is small but well-executed with simple but tasty options. However, the real highlight is the desserts. Each dessert is not only delicious but is also picture perfect in presentation but is decadent with light and refreshing toppings.

Ambiance:
Interior: The seating area is spacious, warm, and inviting.

Music: The music strikes a perfect balance in volume and variety, enhancing the overall experience.

Beverages:
Coffee: My only minor critique is the subpar coffee, which doesn’t quite match the quality of the other offerings.

Hot Chocolate: However, the hot chocolate beverages are exceptional and more than make up for the coffee. If I could only recommend one item, the St. Louis Hot Chocolate comes highly recommended and is a must-try.

Extras: Complimentary self-serve water is a thoughtful touch, adding to the comfortable dining experience

Ordered 2 toasties, French toast and 3 drinks. Waited over 50minutes for the food and they all came 20min after each other. Couldn’t even sit and eat together. Watched other people that came after us get their food. Either you need more staff or a better system. At Tea Tree plaza, I’ve never waited that long. Won’t come back.

Very pricey and a weird menu. The iced chocolate was ok but our ham & cheese "melt" toasties took ages, got to us virtually cold & hardly toasted. The bread was awful, coarse and thick - see pic, with too much cold ham and thickly sliced icy cold tomato ($16 each), we couldn't enjoy it.
Pretends to be up market with the menu & the prices but they basically got no idea. Service was unengaging.
We had 3 iced milk drinks, 2 small coffees and the 2 "toasties" over $77, at least $20 more than elsewhere. Very busy at Munno Para outside but quiet in cafe. We'll never be back & wouldn't recommend.

These are massive deserts and we should have shared one. But they were delicious. But $60 is a lot for the two.

St. Louis is one of our regular places for desserts. Their selection of gelato flavours are fantastic, as are the items from their menu. My new go-to gelato flavour is the caramel cookie cheesecake , with it being sweet but not overpowering (thanks to Afnan for the recommendation!)
The staff are always incredibly kind and patient while we decide upon what we will order and have given us some fantastic recommendations of flavours.
