Wonderful caring staff! Great view of the Bay - sitting outside. Meals were fresh ultra tasty and very enjoyable. We will return for sure.

For a Pub in this location the meals should be at least 3/5

I’ve been coming here for 15 years and have not ever had a good meal. An ok meal sure, but not great or good. Disappointing really because it has so much potential and as much as I want to back to support it I feel like maybe I should just go somewhere else.

And by the way, this is feedback not criticism. Take it or leave it.

Still a nice place to enjoy a drink.

Nice place to have a beer with friends won't be staying for dinner the bistro has been turned into storage shed the new dining room was cold dark but the beer garden a lovely place to sit

Lunch in the beer garden was relaxing with many families filling up tables. Small menu with pub staples, done well. More smiles from staff are welcomed. Band setting up for Sat arvo session.
Great seaside town, beach across from pub, market & playground on the foreshore, jump off the pier or fish, or sit & enjoy an ice cream.

On Sunday we stop in for a meal here, the food was nice, however staff were not overly pleasant. We had not even finished our meal when the young girl who looked like she hated her job, took our plates from us without even asking had we finished. which we had not.
First impressions are key, to people coming back to your establishment.
Customer service skills obviously not a high priority.

We had a great experience at St Leonards Pub. I was a little sceptical as I hadn’t been there since the 90’s, and some of the reviews are a bit sketchy. We were pleasantly surprised. The staff were lovely, the location is top notch, and the food was great. Remind yourself that this is a country pub with country pub food, not a gastro pub, and you will be happy you came.

Absolutely disgusting treatment from manager, I had a service dog and was refused entry because she didn’t have a vest on yet I did provide photo id of her. . I have never been refused entry at any other venue . Their manager needs to be educated on what is acceptable and what is not. Will never return. Went then to the Grand Hotel in Portarlington where we were welcomed with open arms
