I just can't say enough how awesome our time at this playgroup has been! It's been a total game-changer for my 4yo daugher, who has been attending since she was 18mo, and we owe it all to the incredible Melanie, the coordinator, and the fantastic volunteers.

Melanie is always going the extra mile to create a super fun and nurturing environment for the little ones. Theres Christmas celebrations, easter, science week, book week, farm animals day, (and so many other celebrations). It's become our second home, no doubt!
And shout-out to the volunteers, they're the unsung heroes! They make sure every activity, craft session, celebration, etc is a blast while keeping it safe and educational. Their kindness and patience never go unnoticed. They're a big reason why our playgroup feels like one big, supportive family.

My little one has blossomed under Melanie's guidance and the volunteers' awesome support. They've not only learned tons but have also made friends and come home with ear-to-ear grins every single day.

Melanie, you're the real MVP with your exceptional leadership, and to our dedicated volunteers, you rock! You've created a place where our kids thrive, learn, and make memories that'll last a lifetime. We can't thank you enough!

The Stay and Play program at St Davids Neighbourhood Centre has been a weekly fixture in my family's life for the past five years! There are not enough words to describe the centre, their amazing staff, volunteers, and students. They are all incredibly supportive, kind, caring, genuine, lovely people who have become like a second family to us. It has been a pleasure to meet so many lovely families here over the years, I am truly glad I stumbled on the centre all those years ago and my daughters have had the opportunity to grow and play in such a beautiful, caring environment.

There are always a variety of activities and events happening, an amazing outdoor space, and an array of toys for the children to create, play, and truly be themselves while parents, grandparents and carers have the opportunity to relax, play and socialize.

The care and support of St David's and Stay and Play has been an absolute pleasure over the years, I cannot thank them enough for everything they have done for myself and my family. We look forward to our weekly visits in the years to come. <3

I took my daughter to the playgroup today along with a friend and her children and we were made to feel utterly unwelcome by the woman coordinating the playgroup.

My friend and her children were repeatedly scalded and bossed around for the following: Not having a booking, not sticking to now non applicable covid protocols, playing with the toys from a specific section, not putting toys in the sand pit, using the drum to drum (as it's strictly to be used for storage apparently 🤨) . This was all in the space of 10-15 minutes of arrival.

We also witnessed that the other staff on hand are visibly frightened of this person and while we don't claim witness to any bullying or workplace harassment, we believe the atmosphere to be somewhat toxic. A far cry from our previous experience with this playgroup.

The staff are lovely and the centre offers many wonderful activities including a stay'n'play for kids, monthly BBQ's and day trips for the elderly.
