Winter at this location - i have only good things to say. The hosts were so accommodating, the room was sunny warm and cosy. The breakfast was included with barista coffee and home made breakfast. The best was dinner served for two next to the fire place. The food and the atmosphere were just amazing. View is also great with wild and domestic animals feeding in nearby paddock.This place is highly recommended if you wish to experience farm life with a bit of family history attached too.

The location was stunning and peaceful. 14mins from the Japanese hot springs. The breakfast was delicious with homemade yogurt.

Highly recommend getting the homemade lamb shanks for dinner! We had a intimate romantic dinner by the fireplace. The price and portions was great value! Best shanks I've ever had. The meat literally fell off the bone

Also the friendly resident cat Sammy made our trip so much better

Stayed here for a weekend to attend my brother's wedding nearby. I loved this place. Everything is very clean and perfectly in its place. It was cosy and beautiful. It was very cold (3 degrees) outside and it was rainy and windy. This place was warm and comfortable. The hosts are considerate, accommodating, friendly and professional.
I loved the electric blankets and heated towel rack.
I was expecting the usual instant coffee and UHT milks but there was a coffee pod machine and real milk. I was in heaven.
The view from the rooms are spectacular. The fireplace is warm and lovely, breakfast was fresh. Homemade yoghurt was yummy.
On the last night my brother and his new bride stayed with us and we had a great night around the fireplace.
Straight up professional. Lovely pets, animals, horses and wildlife.
I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in the area.

The staff were really accommodating, very comfortable bed , breakfast was great , I highly recommend springmead farm , views are amazing and the place has a really nice feel to it .

Amazing hotel, owners are so friendly and pay attention to detail. Beautiful view and peace. Rooms are so clean and lovely.
